This store never has online orders ready for pickup in 30 mins or less..prescriptions always delay. Long line in the store with slow service I need to find another Walgreens because this one is terrible.

Came inside to pick up my perscription, they said to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour, and they said come back in 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, I came back, and they said they didnt have it, and id need to come back tomorrow afternoon. Aparently they couldn't have told me this an hour and 45 minutes ago. Tomorrow afternoon, the drive through was closed and they had only one person at a register with a huge line. Took about 25 minutes to get helped, to which the same person was surprised I didnt get my pick up yesterday.

Expect to be waiting on the phone for, at minimum, 30min. I have been told they would ship my meds 3 times, and have now been unmedicated for 3 weeks. Awful experience every time.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY! I thought I had a one off bad experience but today took the cake. I have strep. I’m in extreme pain this time. I come to the drive thru 40 minutes after doc put in prescription. Drive thru first starts to talk to me but it was my moms details. Then she says come back in TWO HOURS. For amoxicillin. I decide to go inside and wait another 15 minutes for anyone to even help, who knows how long the little old lady waited in front of me. THEN this one says she can’t see amoxicillin from doc (but the other lady did??) I call my doc and they say they can see it was received. The doc nurse calls and they tell her it’s an hour before they see anything from doctors. I said forget it and send to River Forest Walgreens. Within 5 minutes, the RF Walgreens has the doc prescription, tells me it’s not ready but I can “wait and they’ll have it right up”. The Madison pharmacy is full of lies and baloney!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

worst pharmacy ever, like really ever, dont send your prescriptions here, there is always 1 call ahead of you and the staff will still put you on hold for ever, they just pickup the phone for 1 sec to throw u on hold again so their phone will stop ringing, they just dont want to work, today is monday 9/25/2023 i tried calling for 1 hour at 10 am , then another 40 minutes on hold at 6 pm with no one to talk to !! both times the hold trick !! this is so bad knowing you are calling as a prescriber, this pharmacy should not keep working, shame,shame that patients and doctors have to deal with such a bad pharmacy,i dont know anything about the staff but when its this bad im sure the manager need to be fired ...just read the reviews before walking in here

Feels like they are making the drugs back in the pharmacy room. Dang thing took 5 minutes till somebody was at the counter and another 10 looking for my prescription.

It's like USSR in here. So slow, always a long line no matter the time of day, and only one checker. Walgreens needs to hire more employees so that they provide better service.

The PharmD himself was great and timely but everyone working around him is CLUELESS. I was given the wrong prescription on a "Dispense as Written" script and now have to wait an additional 5 days. I scheduled a vaccine as well and no one knew what to do, it took 3 tech's to finally figure out I needed to go off to the side and fill out more paperwork... which I ALREADY FILLED OUT ONLINE! So, don't waste your time being proactive and fill out the questionnaires prior to coming in, because you'll just have to do them again on paper. & the girls who work there were whispering and laughing while someone else was trying to help them at their station... like it's funny you don't know how to do your job, right? Overall, bad experience at this Walgreens pharmacy.

More often than not you are confronted by panhandlers who will ask for gift cards if you don't have cash. Also, Walgreens would rather we stand in line no matter the time of day rather than staff their pharmacy appropriately.

If I could give zero stars I would . . . extremely rude pharmacists . . . they have gotten prescriptions wrong . . . don't fill essential medications on time . . . wait on hold for someone to answer the phone a minimum of 20 minutes and then they have no idea what they are talking about . . . several times have given my husband the wrong prescription.
