The cut was perfect and she came home soft and smelling great. They also took care of all the regular maintenance (nails, ears, teeth clean). They did a great job and I highly recommend them for your pet. (Their daycare services too!)”

The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. The place so beautiful on its own that I didn’t even need to have any other decor other than a welcome sign and table decor! You absolutely need to book your next party here, you won’t regret it!”

As the mother of the bride, I expected to be stressed, but I wasn't! This was truly a perfect setting for our family's wedding. Thank you, Firehouse!”

“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

3015 W Division St, Chicago“The Taíno exhibit is excellently curated. I appreciate how they are able to connect common phrases with the culture of the indigenous people. I never fully appreciated the impact that the indigenous people had to Puerto Rico until I saw this exhibit. Furthermore, I love the installations outside, and Boricua who has been to the island will immediately recognize the CouQui sounds playing from the speakers. I also appreciated the staff, especially the director of development. She was so knowledgeable and had such passion for art and Puerto Rican culture. Please give her a raise.”
“Thalia Hall in Chicago is a fantastic venue that perfectly blends history, charm, and modern amenities, making it an ideal spot for live music events. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a performance by The Paper Kites, and the experience was nothing short of delightful.
One of the first things that stood out was the cleanliness of the venue. Thalia Hall is well-maintained, with tidy restrooms and a polished appearance throughout the space. This attention to detail contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for concertgoers.
The friendly staff truly makes a difference at Thalia Hall. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a helpful demeanor. The bartenders, in particular, were exceptional. The bartender who served us was not only efficient but also engaging and personable. They took the time to chat with patrons and made everyone feel welcomed, adding a personal touch to the evening.
The acoustics in the hall are impressive, allowing for an intimate listening experience that truly complements the performances. The ambiance is cozy, with a mix of historic charm and modern flair, making it easy to relax and enjoy the music. The seating arrangement is well-designed, ensuring that even those at the back can have a great view of the stage.
Watching The Paper Kites perform in such a setting was magical. The atmosphere was electric, and the combination of their beautiful music and the venue's charm created an unforgettable experience. The crowd was respectful and engaged, which further enhanced the enjoyment of the concert.
Overall, Thalia Hall is a gem in Chicago's music scene. Its cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and excellent staff contribute to a wonderful experience for anyone attending a show. I highly recommend checking out upcoming performances at Thalia Hall—whether you're a fan of the artists or just looking for a great night out, you won't be disappointed!”
“Extremely pleasurable experience wonderful if you’re a history buff add a pinch of jazz and 19th century spark! Guys. This is a spectacular mansion full of wonder and pristine glamour that you cannot see anywhere else. Very pleased with Angela as she provided my group a stellar tour! Loved to witness the joy in her eyes over the gladness she’s shared within The Colvin House.I only recommend this visit to those seeking an elegant gothic revival within their day to day. On a Tuesday I visited with my team for their Kevin Fort & Andy Brown concert and it was just total harmony. BYOB wine quaint seating and delightful bites. Please dress well or business casual wonderful location to host corporate events or weddings.Gladness peace and kindness to all.”
“So many excellent pieces! This was a fun little date stop to pop in and see the art. They have pieces for every price point, as well as sale items. Highly recommend even if you just want to walk around/window shop.”
“We loved working with Michelle! We are introverted folks and we felt extremely comfortable with her. We hired her for engagement photos and wedding photos. She was very responsive in all communication. It is clear that she has a lot of experience in the field and she truly wanted to capture us, not some cookie cutter wedding version. The photos were absolutely beautiful! I really appreciated that she focused on what we wanted, and was able to deal with family and the wedding party well. She brought great energy on the morning of the wedding- both energizing and calming. We would totally hire her again for any photography needs!”
“EXCELLENT service from our initial appointment and all the way through the actual day of the party! The entire staff was always friendly, professional, explained and answered all my questions/concerns. They care and make you feel like family. My guests also gave me positive feedback about the venue, food, and all the attention to detail. The Martinique staff made sure our Quinceañera party was memorable!”

“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. I am so happy I found this incredible shared rental space in the neighborhood to hold my classes and build community. It's perfect!”

1342 North Milwaukee Avenue Second Floor, Chicago“The Dollhouse was fun and our instructor was hilarious. She made us laugh so much. I loved how she never broke out of character. My biggest issue with this place is how dirty it was. Bathrooms were gross. The escape room had hair, dirt, stains, etc. I understand the retro theme but I didn’t expect for it to not be cleaned since the 80s. Hopefully they can hire a cleaning person at least once every 2 weeks to keep this awesome place clean.”
“Great spot! Took some amazing photographs at this location. The trees make this place look splendid and magical. These photos are from a traditional Ethiopian wedding.”

3635 N Clark St, Chicago“I visited the Christkindl Market at Wrigleyville, and they have the booths/shops put up by the Gallagher Way. It was a nice experience, and I was able to enjoy the hot cocktail and other treats. There were benches, chairs, and tables for patrons to sit. I am looking forward to next year's Christkindl Market here in Wrigleyville.”
“Used to bring my children here when they were little. Brought them back for a trip down memory lane. Slides, climbing area and hiking trails. Also have bike trails. Nice picnic area”
“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was). The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation. The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun! This is where I will go for our next party!”
“We had our wedding there on 01.26.2024 at 07:00 PM. The event was phenomenal, and the staff were amazing. We were so stressed about the wedding, and we had many happy and sad moments. Jose and his team supported us in getting our cake, decorating the place (picking out our colors), and having everyone set up accordingly (our vendors included). The staff was amazing, and the setup was awesome! Payments were smooth and very streamlined, and we liked the reminders because they kept us on track to ensure we had everything paid off before the event. The food was delicious, and both our families were happy about the food. We had sweets brought out after the food and that was awesome. The venue was very clean, and the place was organized. The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful with the drinks and for those that were too intoxicated during our wedding, the bartenders were quick to cut them off and offer water instead. The servers were professional, and everyone was kind and friendly! Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! We were happy that you could share this moment with us!”
“We visited here as it was on the Frank Lloyd Wright map, and although he wasn't the architect, we were still interested to see the work of one of his contemporaries. We were greeted by Theresa, who took us on a tour of the whole house which lasted around an hour and a half. Theresa was so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to meet and be guided by her. She was so knowledgeable about the house and the families who had lived there, and my partner and I walked away feeling like we had learned so much. The house itself is full of surprises and interesting quirks, and Theresa did a brilliant job of bringing it to life for us. We absolutely loved our time there, but also feel sad that a house of such historical importance isn't receiving the funding needed to fully restore it. I really recommend taking this tour, as not only will you enjoy learning about this amazing house, you will also be helping to preserve its place in history.”
