I had my retirement party at Unity and it was the perfect place it is beautiful and i was able to decorate without any added fees and Juan Lorenz is the greatous. He worked with me closely to make sure my party was a success. His knowledge, service and kindness made my retirement party an event that will be remembered always. Thank you(UOP) and Juan you are a true blessing.

My family and I rented the hall recently, what a beautiful space. Clean and the tables with the chairs were set up on our arrival. Person we worked with was Angel and he was very professional and courteous. We were able to have our live music and food without issues. Angel made it very easy to make our event happen and explained the process of the rental. We will be returning for our events. Parking lot is very big and easy to get into.

I don’t normally write reviews but I definitely had to write one for this one . If I could rate this place 0 stars I would but that’s not an option. My family and I rented their hall for a party over the weekend . We were being helped by Angel who was very rude and unprofessional. The day we went to view the hall & sign the contract Angel had mentioned to us that he would “even let us drop off liquor or any party essentials that needed to be dropped the day before the party” . He also mentioned that we were allowed to “decorate the hall early in the morning before our event” . We reached out to him the day before our event and he told us that “he didn’t recall telling us any of that and that we weren’t able to drop anything off the day before the event” . After talking to Angel he stated that he would give us ONLY 15 mins to drop off liquor the day before our event and that he would open the doors for us to start decorating 15 minutes before our event . He then called saying that he wasn’t “around” anymore and that instead he would open the doors for us 45 minutes before our event started . He did not open the doors 45 minutes before our event . Doors were opened 15 minutes before , which gave us no time for anything .
Angel had told us that we had until 12 am to clean and leave the hall . My family and I
started cleaning around 10:50 leaving his hall spot less clean and Angel showed up around 11:30 telling us that we had to leave in 15 minutes or else he was going to charge us .
Definitely not a man of his word.

Easter Sunday 2020. I have been attending Unity of Oak Park with now passed Rev. Richard Billings for. 35 years. It is hoped that this once wonderful church of healing continues. During this Easter season I hope some are fortunate to find And watch the movie, “King of Kings” 1961 with Jeffrey Hunter and listen to the “Sermon on the Mount.”

I've found my spiritual home at Unity of Oak Park. The message is practical, peaceful, and uplifting. I love the youth education and having my son raised in Unity. This New Thought church has a lot to offer everyone and I'm excited to be a member. Our new minister's message is solid and loving and we are poised to grow!
