I took 2 vintage Coach handbags to Tony to repair the straps that were tearing. I went there based on excellent reviews. However, I was shocked when I picked up the bags. Instead of repairing the torn parts on the straps to look like the other strap side, he glued and partially sewed a piece of non-matching leather (one bag the color is wrong and on the other bag it is a piece of pebbled black leather (the bag is not pebbled.) The first and third pics are the horrible work he did and the 2nd and 4th is what it is supposed to look like. I'm just shocked.

I brought in a pair of 15 year old wedges that needed the insoles replaced. Tony took care of it and totally revamped the shoes. They look almost brand new, and I bet will last another 15 years. Highly recommend!

I had two pair of heritage boots cleaned and polished here. The gentleman, I believe Tony, was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this shop. I can’t recall the turn around time on the boots but i do know it was quick.

Very disappointed with my shoe repairs. I brang in a high heel and a boot with a heel to be cut down. They charged me $30 and both pairs of shoes look like the heel has been untouched and still in the new box I brang them in. When I questioned about the heels looking the exact same, he stated he cut down a quarter of an inch? I will take my shoes somewhere else since I got ripped off by $30….this is not how you deceive customers. He should have refunded me my money back since he did not cut down the heels as requested.

The best shoe repair, restore, shine and polish shop one could find. I know because I looked. Took two pairs of shoes in. Another shop already had a shot at them, but I wanted to see if Tony’s could do better. And, they absolutely did. Both pairs look better than they have since they were new. It’s a gem of a shop that is like a unicorn. All the experience and ability with zero attitude, lost tickets or cantankerous cobblers one may find in other old school shops like this. They are pleasant, efficient and I am glad I found them. After seeing the result of their work first hand, in my mind if Tony’s can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed.
