“I go on Saturday mornings when they are open for 2-3 hours instead of Lake Street.
There is never a line and things ship quickly
Lake Street is way worse. All the negative reviews are from serial complainers”

“i had a really great experience here opening a PO Box. i was slightly hesitant based on the negative reviews so i just want to add my positive experience in case anyone is on the fence.There was one employee at the desk and she was very nice, helpful, and efficient with myself and everyone in front of me despite being it kind of being a holiday (Monday July 3).There were three people in front of me and i still got in, registered, and out before my 15min parking was up.I didn’t catch her name, but the employee working today was so lovely and i wouldn’t hesitate recommending people to use this location!”

“Shoutout to Danielle at the Lyons, IL Post Office for going above and beyond! My package was lost in the mail for over a month and kept getting circulated through Chicago, Fox Valley, and Lyons post office. It's final destination was supposed to be Pennsylvania! I called the Lyons Post Office and Danielle was able to retrieve the package and identify that the scan bar/bar code must have had an error, as the address was correct on the label. She replaced the labelling and reshipped the package to me. Thank you for going the extra step to help a customer out!”

“I love going to this post office. It's very convenient to my home and the man that is usually there when I go is very friendly, helpful and appears to enjoy his job. He always suggest ways to ship for less and always has a smile on his face. I asked about holiday stamps and he went out of his way to find some for me. Overall, a very pleasant experience every time I go to drop a package or letter to be mailed.”

“They are professional and fast as well as carful with your information had to get an appointment to do my passport because the post office in my area does not have an agent to do for more than a month they called me to let me know that the appointment time I booked is in their agent lunch time, and they will be happy to serve after that so I don’t get there and wait as soon as she got back checked all information and made sure everything is correct on the application and got it done. Also thanks for the gentleman for welcoming my kid to the post office.”

“Always a pleasant experience coming to this location. Sometimes there is a wait. But the ladies at the desk will still acknowledge and let you know they will be with you shortly. And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. My favorite post office! Thank you ladies! Keep up the great work!”
“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”

“The Clerk there was very nice and efficient this was my first time walking inside. The gentleman that was in line before me seemingly had a lot of the same questions the clerk was patient at least I thought she was patient and very attentive to his questions . I just needed a stamped envelope nonetheless This location gets a five-star customer service rating .”
“This is the best post office and I even drive out of my way a little bit just to come here. They're open JUST long enough after work hours (open until 6pm on weekdays!) so i can get my small etsy business orders out after my full time job. They always scan my packages without hesitation and with a smile, too! I'll never go to another post office again (and i've tried many over the years: Willow Springs, Bolingbrook, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook...) The workers are friendly, efficient, and never close a minute earlier than closing time. Thank you!”

“This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address ?? will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.”
“I scheduled an appointment for passport services - Haseena was wonderful! She was patient with processing my application, taking my photo and answering all of my questions. She (and Nicole!) even helped me resolve a mail issue I hadn’t addressed for quite a while (which was completely my own fault). Such a pleasant experience!”

He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”
“I was scared to go there after reading all these 1star reviews, but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. There were 4 or 5 people in front of me in the line, but my turn came in 10 or 15 mins. Maybe I was just lucky.Please hear me out! One of the customers in the line brought a gigantic stuffed animal without a box, and of course she was told that she needs a box to send it. These post office workers are probably dealing with this kind of customers all day and now I totally understand how they can get frustrated and stressed out sometime.Please do your part before going to post office!”

“I didn’t know they stopped processing passport applications after 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:58pm and was told they stopped already. I stayed calm and asked politely if it was still possible to process my application anyways after explaining how dire my situation was and the young woman decided to process my application because she was still at her desk (a little sassy but, I was late after all)She then explained in detail how the process works and told me exactly how I’d receive all my documents in a professional and helpful manner. She was happy to repeat any part I didn’t understand as the process is quite odd as you send over your original birth certificate along with a check and leave with nothing after doing so which is a little unnerving.Alas, this all occurred on 9/27/23. It is now 10/30/23 and I just received my passport! (I paid extra to expedite my application)Thank you to that young woman for putting in the extra effort for me. It was seriously appreciated.”
