I really appreciated the help I received. I will definitely make this my primary eye doctor as long as I can. I was seen quickly yet thoroughly. Got some well needed answers for the questions I had and I am grateful.

Brought in my glasses for a repair. The glasses came from another company but they (specifically Myrna) repaired them within 10 minutes at no charge.

Let me tell you something it was raining and horrible weather conditions out when I called and made the doctors appointment which they rescheduled two times on me when I finally made it there and got there I was what’s than five minutes late there was nobody inside of the place and they could not see me because I was late even though on the phone they failed to tell me that there was no parking at the location that you had to park in a parking garage and the weather conditions were horrible I would not recommend this eye doctor to anybody and I am so glad that I went to the eye doctor that I did go to a Hinsdale !’ This was ridiculous my daughter ended up needing to get a spinal tap and I almost didn’t find out because of their negligence

So the other day I went had an appointment set for 2 pm I arrived a little after 2 about 2:05-2:10. The manager in charge said they only allow a 5 minute grace period for people who ran late! Mind you I called off work for this appointment, plus the weather was raining all day. I was furious at that point thanks a lot Sam!! Me and my family will not be returning nor do I recommend.

Never felt so out of place like in this office. Service was denied due to arriving 12 minutes late. We are in our 70’s and needed to find suitable parking which was not easy since this area it’s very congested. As soon we walked in, we could feel this place was to “high class” or “ boogie “ for us. Receptionist was practically non verbal and advised us there was a 5 minute grace on been late. Although the doctor herself was running late (sarcasm) and had 2 patients waiting but could not fit us in. Waisted $3 on parking and came back home with a sour taste on how seniors are wrongly treated. Yes, was offered a new appointment but, nahh, never again. Seniors be careful where you get your services.

MyEyeDr. In Oak Park is a wonderful place. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave the team is focused on helping you with your eye care needs. The whole team makes you feel like you matter, but Myrna, went above and beyond. She gave me the information I needed to know, and she helped me navigate through my insurance process. I really appreciate her kindness, And they also have plenty of nice frames to choose from. I have told plenty of my friends and family about my great experience visiting MyEyeDr.

I have no idea where these bad reviews are coming from. I have never been to an Eye Doctor before, I have always had perfect vision. Like many hitting 50, my eyesight is going bad to read, and you hear on commercials of all the eye diseases, again making me hesitant. I assumed I would go in they will have me read an eye chart, tell me I need glasses and send me on my way without know if I am ok. Isn't that what everyone wants for a checkup, to make sure EVERYTHING (no disease) is ok. Well what happen was the OPPOSITE of just read some letters and make me pay. My Doctor was Jessilyn Burns. She was AMAZING she told me every second what she was doing and why (a little fast, might want to slow down a little). That is a HUGE comfort, not sure she knows how good that is. Makes you feel everything is going to be checked, and nice for me to know all was well, except my reading as I did need some reading glasses. When I went to pick out my frames, the girl that helped me was SSSOOOOO Patient as I tried on 10 pairs before deciding. I have now idea if these bad reviews are from WhiteOak, but I doubt it, because they made me extremely happy.

The first time I came in for my eye exam everyone was amazing. I then called because I had a question about how my prescription changed. I spoke with Myrna who said she’d have the Dr call me back the next day, or she would. My phone never rang and I never got a voicemail, so I followed up via email, and then called the following Monday. The man who picked up quickly and nicely answered my question about my prescription, and then later that day i went in to pick up my glasses.A woman comes walking up to me after I was seated, shaking papers at me saying “I called you! I called you two times and so did the doctor and we left messages!!” She didn’t bother to introduce herself so I had no idea who she was until I was able to see her name tag. I said “I believe you, but I didnt get any calls or messages” I even let her look at my voicemails. She kept saying “well I called you I did I called!” She seemed so angry. I never called her a liar, and all the times I followed up I never blamed her. I was just trying to get a simple question answered. I couldn’t even focus on if my new glasses felt good or if the new prescription felt right, I was so shaken up and blindsided by this confrontation. I eventually interrupted her to say “I believe you, I’m not being hostile, I already had my question answered” and only then did she stop, asked me how my glasses fit and if I had any questions.I am so disappointed by this interaction, I don’t feel comfortable walking in here any more.

My first visit here. My appointment was at 10am which I arrived a few minutes before. I saw the lights on. A gentleman that works there walks around me in the doorway to unlock the door, like I wasn't standing there. Then he said, I assume you are our 1st patient for 10am? I preceded to go in and Mryna was sitting in there which I know she had to see me standing at the door. So now Jeremy comes in and not introduce himself but asked me to come in the back. No one spoke or told me a name until I said something. The only person that was nice was the Doctor. Unprofessional. A greeting for someone that is spending money goes a lond way.
