“I love this store. It's a true shame it's not larger. They really need a bigger selection but simply don't have the room. But they have no problem special ordering whatever you want.”
“Brought in coins from my dad’s collection. I tried to find out the cost of coins on my own and was overwhelmed. Then didn’t even know how to begin to sell them. Went to Oakton Coins and Collectables. They went through them and gave me a price. We sold to them and trusted they were being fair! I’ll probably never know but made that deco to sell to them. Hard to part with my dad’s collection but we lived in Oakton for my entire youth and young adult life. Maybe meant to be.”
“This place was amazing. It was so good that I wanted it to rate it infinite amount of stars. He gives the best discounts, tons of model options to choose and some of the best model planes that I have ever seen. The plane models were preassembled and such in good shape and quality. If this was your first time here, he will ask you if you gotten a safety card from a flight. Highly recommended! Go to this shop in your free time. This place is the best and now my new happy place.”
“Rich's collectibles has a wide selection of many different collectibles and the owner is very friendly too. It's the perfect spot to find gifts for yourself or others at a great deal! Prices are very fair! Will be back again!”
“So happy I visited here! It's the perfect stop for wall-to-wall horror memorabilia and horror art from real local artists. Best of all, the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about horror movies as well. Looking forward to my next visit!”
“Knights Edge is phenomenal! Not only are there many stellar pieces to look at, but Norman and Miriam go above and beyond by making this store an immersive experience. They were also very kind and helpful and answered all our questions (since we were first time purchasers).Again, I highly highly highly recommend this store, especially if you want to buy unique products/gifts and have fun while doing it!”
“Excellent staff and fun buying experience! I bought a couple select hobby boxes and they gave me some free cards as well! I ripped them in store with Tim and had a great time. Prices for hobby and retail are very reasonable and they have a great selection of vintage basketball cards. Definitely coming back!”
“I'm a huge fan of Fair Game, and try to spend money supporting my friendly local game store whenever possible. As a Dungeon Master for my D&D group there's a great array of official content, third party sources, and minis for my game. As a parent, I'm thrilled by their large selection of games age appropriate for my 3 year old. Every time I walk in their staff are friendly and helpful, and it's an excellent environment for the kids in the area. Can't say enough positive things about the place!”
“A little gem hidden off the main roads. This place is a lovely little hobby shop, but there are some challenges. It once was a storefront in Evanston, but since moving to its current location, I can see how it could be missed if you are not looking for it. So no sidewalk traffic. BUT for those of us who know it's there, we get all the goodies to ourselves. I do feel that some things don't get restocked because there's so much product in one space, and it may appear that they're trying to sell off all the things they already have, BUT there are things here you won't find at other stores, especially if you are into miniatures and dollhouses.Luckily I don't live far, so I try to swing by everytime I need something. The hours are a bit weird for those of us who work all day, but that's not a deal breaker. Nice staff, quality stuff. Worth the trip, just keep in mind you'll buy stuff you didn't even know you needed or wanted. I rarely leave without spending at least $75. Go visit- looking at all the things is an activity alone.I can't wait to have a daughter someday so I can build a custom dollhouse.”
“Where to start with Magic Inc. One word, GREAT!!!I love magic, but it's hard and expensive and takes skills, right. Well, yeah. (full disclosure, I am a beginner with magic, and this is the second magic store I have been to, for what it is worth...)But, if you are in Chicago and want to dip your toes into this skill, magic, you have to go to Magic Inc. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular just to hang out and learn from the staff and clients.Even if you just want to go to an incredibly awesome store, head to Magic Inc. No intimidation here what so ever!Friendly and professional staff that just happen to be magicians! Wow.Just walk in, say you want to learn a little about magic, and you will see some amazing things that you just might walk out with. I went in for two decks of cards and left with a great 'how to' book and two other tricks that I, a beginning magician, could do (at least my great neices think so...)Thanks, Pedro, for making my visit incredible! Can't wait to get back for another visit - Magic Inc. is, well, magical!!!”

8919 Cermak Rd, North Riverside“Been a big fan of heroes for years for a lot of different reasons. The owner is fantastic and their communication with social media responses is very quick. It's very convenient to know what's in stock and to get timely answers. Most hobby places I've dealt with in the past are very slow when it comes to responses/non existent. Outside of great communication, owner/staff are very friendly and overall fantastic people to deal with. To the fun stuff - it's a classic card shop with a great selection and cool memorabilia as well. They also do very fun raffles as well which is extra reason to continue to spend money on your hobby :) Keep up the great work!”
“My husband and i sort of wandered in (i didn't think it was open since you can't tell from the street) but we got buzzed in and WOW was it worth it, an amazing collection, some of which my husband recognized from his childhood with plenty of toys and models with all sorts of themes. GREAT stock of Horror stuff and a super friendly lady at the counter. We will absolutely be back, this place is a hidden gem and well worth the trip on a rainy Satuday afternoon.”
“I meet Captain Steve today the owner!! Him and his son Tom run the business.. if you're looking for anything vintage baseball cards, records, old model cars, and many many more things, you should stop by and check it out. Plenty of parking on the side street right next to the shop. Steve and Tom are friendly nice and not pushy owners!”

“This place is awesome! It is the best hidden secret of a bead store in Chicago for gems and other beads. Truly gorgeous products (all kinds of real gemstones that I wanted to buy them all) and Anna and Diana are lovely people who are so helpful and kind. Glad to support this woman owned business. Love love love their new space and look forward to going back! This special shop should not be missed!”

7139 W Higgins Ave, Chicago“Incredible shop, something for every level collector. You will not leave empty handed. The clerk it knowledgeable and willing to advise if needed. If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”

“Been all over the Chicagoland area in and out of sports cards/memorabilia shops throughout the years. I'll say Elite Cards is top of the line. When I say "top of the line", I mean both Ronnie & Gary buy-sell-trade with integrity. Wealth of knowledge in the industry. It's not just about making a "sale" with these guys, they're in it because they love what they do! A lot of shops I've been too, I've always picked up on the used car salesman vibe but not here. Straight shooters, no sugar coating, and or over inflating value on products they have. Simply tell them what you're trying to accomplish and they'll help you get there! Thanks guys!”
“Best GameStop I’ve ever been to. Deonte is a lovely gentlemen, and always accommodates me. He’s a nice guy — he knows the products and he’s personable, and kind to customers — even little ones!”

2001 W 18th St, Chicago“Great place in a historic building full of charm. Definitely a must visit for those who are serious about model railroading.. the shelves are stocked to the top with kits that are difficult to find elsewhere and the deals are some of the best I've seen in the hobby.”

25 W Plainfield Rd, Countryside“Awesome experience and owner! I brought my eight-year-old and five-year-old into the shop to teach them about coins, and he gave them a few free coins and took some of his time to teach my boys. Thank you very much for this great experience. Thank you for the good pricing too.”
“This was a great end to a tragic loss my husband passed a few months ago and he had gold coins I thought weren't worth very much well I was mistaken to my surprise”
10AM - 5:30PM
5516 W Devon Ave, Chicago“We went to Archie's to see if they were interested in a variety of items we wanted to sell. The entire experience was excellent and conducted with clarity, great communication, and professionalism. Their offers were fair, and they explained why certain things were not valued as we may have expected. We felt very comfortable there and recommend it others looking for their services.”
“Steven is very knowledgeable about the trading cards and provides great customer service. I've been buying supplies and cards from him for years and was never disappointed. Highly recommend.”
“Grant is awesome! There are tons of comics and he knew exactly what boxes to look for when you ask him what you are looking for. Be prepared to stay for more than an hour and bring your money. It's worth the trip!”
