Oak Park Main Chase closed its drive through banking. There is a drive up at Madison and Oak Park Avenue but wait lines are horrific. Also ridiculous to try to call and reach a live person for any kind of assistance. There is a Byline Bank in Oak Park that actually answers their phone! I am switching my accounts to that bank!

I have to call Chase support weekly for one problem or another. I have been a long time 25 years, with Chase. I also have 30 other accounts from various business also with Chase. The problems vary' today it is Zelle. Chase will not interact with PNC Bank. Chase has a habit of passing the buck. On ave4rage I get on the phone and get transferred 5 times. Repeat my story each time and ultimately almost always the same outcome. "The problem is not with Chase" but it is and I have to prove it each time by getting the other party on a conference call with Chase. I waste an average of 4 hours each time. This is the worst customer service and although an huge task and a major disruption of my business I will have to leave if the don't fix this. This all started about 4 years ago probably with offshoring.

I have bad experience.Got very welcoming agent who later turned into someone who doesn’t do anything promptly(seemed as great procrastinator)and gives unclear explanations. At the end after a month of working with me he ended up telling me that he needs to consult with legal and then he said that people with EAD cards would most like fail the underwriting.Could not he consult legal department right away and save everyone time instead of this being last second action?I will probably look into changing the whole bank all together (

Upgrading to 5 thanks to the team for getting me in and out in less than 15 minutes for a notary service. Free, since I have an account here. Free parking, too. Thanks, Alejandro and team!!

Now I know why I finally closed my account here. You can NEVER get a human #1, and if you do, best of luck. From day one the 'BOT' asked me for my debit card #, when I entered it, I was not recognized - after 5 years! God I hate Chase and places like Chase. Chase is very similar to the Post office - they advertise on how great they are, (We Deliver For You) but in reality, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. When you go into one, you totally understand why so many people go off the rail LOL it's the worst. The further ahead we have progressed with technology, we've grown farther away from human contact and customer service. Customer Service is basically non existent and companies like Chase fuel the the fire of horrible customer service, their commercials would make you think otherwise.

What happened to a hello? How are you? How is your day upon walking in? I will walk in the bank and tellers and bankers will one by one walk past without saying hello.

As another reviewer stated, it is maddening to require service from the local bank but virtually impossible to reach them by phone. All links lead to the central number which I would have called in the first place if that is what I needed. Maddening. On the other hand, the central numbers are helpful and can provide most services. i even went in to my local Chase and was told a banker would phone me the next day, which they did not. Aargh!

This review is not about a particular bank. It is a negative review based on horrible and misleading information from the Chase Online Banking 877-210....phone number and Chase Specialist off of the Chase App. I was recently told by an account specialist that my Zelle amount would not go through since I called them before it went through. The specialist on the Chase recorded line responded to my request to cancel the request by saying that the account was suspended and that the 707.00 amount would not go through. I asked if I needed to do anything else, and the specialist stated, "No, it is canceled and not to worry". Since it was a recorded line and I believed that it was canceled, I did nothing else. Later that evening, I checked and 07.00 was gone. Then, after spending a total of 5 hours at the bank, and being transferred many times on the phone, Chase is not taking any responsibility for the 707.00 amount leaving my bank account even after I specifically stated on a recorded line, to cancel the transaction. They said not to worry, and the payment would not go through. My issue with Chase is horrible customer specialist support on the phone. Why would they say the amount/account is "suspended/canceled and that it would not go through" when it did? Now, after several letters, phone calls, and over 5 hours with a banking specialist, Chase says it can't do anything. DO NOT USE CHASE OR BELIEVE THEM OVER THE PHONE. I once thought they were reputable; however, I will stick with Morgan Stanley and Citibank. I am very disappointed in Chase. Do not believe what they say to you over the phone. It will not help your case if you are ever in need to get something canceled.

This location seems to have minimal associates available for business account assistance. On my first visit no one was available so I scheduled an appointment. I arrive on time for the appointment only to wait 20 minutes for assistance. Very disappointing.

Norridge Chase, on Harlem. No service. No call returns Try calling them 20 times and leave message, you get nothing. I walked in the bank to deposit a cashiers check and asked to make a small withdrawl. The teller combined the transaction to only to show records of the withdrawl amount, NO COPY OF THE CASHIERS CHECK . It was the easier wrong choice, and Chase is not available to service you as a customer. Chase over the years at the local bannks, their pride and joy, do NOT answer phones. This has been going on for years.

I recently visited this branch on a Saturday morning and I had a great experience. Not only is the brick and mortar beautiful, but the staff inside was very helpful. If you are at all curious about the options you have for banking and/or credit I would recommend visiting them and speaking to one of their client administrators. If you just lay out how you are currently living, and any expected change down the road, they guide you on which method of banking lines up best with their system.

TLDR: use the ATMs whenever you can but the counter service isn't bad and it gets the job done! This location has two 24-hour ATMS and two more ATMs inside the lobby. The lobby is always clean and tidy and welcoming. The line for in-person banking can get long here at times, especially during lunch hours, but I haven't had to wait more than 15 min during the early morning and late afternoon hours. They're also usually stocked with rolls of quarters if anybody needs to do a ton of laundry! lol

What ever you do DO NOT go through Antonio Alvarez when trying to get a loan for a home. My significant other and I went to this Chase Bank excited as first home buyers back in October 2019. The exciting news is we were pre-approved. The end of January 2020 we put in a bid for a home, closing was to be beginning of march. The Lender had everything to determine if this is possible or not. The Inspection was done, the appraisal was to be completed. The day of appraisal we contacted Antonio to ask him how it went and his response was he never showed. weeks went by and the person had finally done the appraisal. The Lender had withdrawn money without authorization out of my Chase banking account, instead of my Credit card. Antonio Alvarez (our Lender through Chase) said ops, if I try to fix it now it will just slow down the process. It was close to closing date, time went by closing disclosure was due and their was minimal communication from the Lender. Every time we had to contact the Lender to get any information. Even the Realtor and the Attorney requested on many occasions for more updates. The Lenders response was always "I will keep all apprised..." but would never respond with real answers. Attention was brought to his boss Jason R. Brown, he had made it seem that everything was under control and he had the same goal as us. He made us feel comfortable, he said he will be paying attention to our loan from that point on. No action was taken, I have not herd from him since. Bills were coming and with the unauthorized charge we had to think of what we were going to do for bills. The closing was moved week by week until we decided ourselves that he wasn't doing what was necessary to make closing happen and by taking his time closing didn't happen when it should have. Thank god the owners of the house were being patient with this process by signing multiple extensions. We had changed lenders and now closing is on track. They were able to tell us what we had to do to make this possible and even gave us a lower rate. I had sent Jason R. Brown an email April 6th and still haven't herd back from him. Chase is a bank and I guess it should be obvious that they only care about money. I'm seriously considering changing banks... some of my family and friends agree who also bank through Chase.

I have had an account at chase for over 30 years. Online service to set up savings account was so bad I came to branch. It took 40 minutes to set up savings account to attach to my bank account for overdraft. Monumental waste of time. What a mess. The telhad no idea what she was doing.
