I have been to a few different places for PT and this is by far superior. I worked with Genevieve after my total knee replacement and she was outstanding. She truly read my needs each day and focused on problem spots when needed, and had a compassionate but also determined and reassuring attitude about how the therapy was working. If you find you need the dry needling effect at some point I recommend that for particularly troubled spots. It seemed that everyone at Centre PT was quite competent and on top of the most recent techniques. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable for all ages and abilities. I will miss my appointments here, but will come back if I need PT again.

I love Centre! I actually looked forward to going to physical therapy because everyone there is great to be around. They provide excellent, attentive and thorough service. Each PT only ever had two patients they were working with and often I was their only patient during my appointments. I also appreciated working directly with the PT as opposed to an assistant, which I’ve experienced in the past. I felt better after just one visit. The PTs also have a variety of specialties, I especially appreciated the dry needling and the availability of a private room. I highly recommend Centre!

I went to Centre with persistent back pain, worried I’d be told I couldn’t do the active things I loved. Caty and Genevieve were absolutely wonderful. They listed, observed, and skillfully figured out where my pain originated, as well as the other areas of the body impacted by my injury. They have helped me address each and I am able to fully resume all of the sports I love. My gratitude for these women is so big!!

Emily was encouraging and helped shape our sessions to meet my post-operation goals. I'm really impressed with my first-hand experience at this practice, and would heartily recommend them. From my first call with reception I could see the difference in the ownership and professional (but very human & chill) bar they've set at Centre.

I would like to thank Shannon for getting my neck, back and hip to feel normal again. Had lower back pain for years and was exploring different treatment options, not knowing that just a few needle pokes can relieve years of pain. I am very happy and grateful for the results.

I have been a serious bicyclist for 65 of my 70 yrs but started having issues with my heel catching on the mixte down tube leaning to frequent falls and feared that I would have to give up bicycling---I bicycle to obviate the need for driving and as my main means of getting exercise. Luckily during one of these falls I injured my foot and my podiatrist sent me to Emily for balance and core strength training. Emily did a comprehensive biomechanics assessment and the creation of a PT treatment plan of core and lower limb strengthening, Flexibility training, and improvement of lower extremity muscle coordination as well as intervening with my frequent lower limb and bottom of foot muscle spasms. Emily did not look for the of my problem but rather the angry zebra. Today I have less overall pain and feel secure on my bicycle. It may seem like a little thing, that drip drip drip loss of conditioning that set me up= for falling problems and lower extremity spasms but it very much sapped my quality of life and and really did feel less capable and feeling as though something I enjoyed all of my life might just go- away. Emily knows how to find the problem and fix the problem taking into acct my strengths and weaknesses. One of the leading reasons for having Medicare and Secondary Health Insurance from the job I retired from is that I could be referred to Emily for the help I so greatly needed rather than being referred to "whoever is in network" for plan s like Medicare Advantage, an HMO, or a limited option health plan

Outstanding PT after surgery and for a sports injury! I received PT after surgery last winter and was so impressed I returned after a sports-related injury this summer that was not getting better after more than a month. Centre helped me rehab in time to compete in a 5k paddleboard race. Not only was I able to race, I placed 2nd. Without their help, I probably would have skipped the race entirely.

Centre PT has given me the gift of a normal life after years of hip pain that often left me unable to walk far or even get out of chairs. I went to Centre after hip surgery and worked with Emily for six months. She was totally invested in me as a patient and obviously worked with me on the physical post-op challenges, but she was also empathetic and supportive about the mental and emotional challenges. Emily is extremely knowledgeable, capable, realistic/honest, patient, considerate, friendly... think of any posititive adjective, and Emily is it.I also saw Mara for separate but interelated issues that I've had for my entire life. In just a month, I had incredible success that vastly improved my quality of life.I can't say enough about the rest of the staff, including Claire, who patiently worked through tedious and confusing insurance issues and ensured I always understood what was going on.This is a truly collaborative space where everyone is rooting for you to make a full recovery. I have been to several other PT facilities over the years but never had such attentive, intentional and specialized care as at Centre.If I have a need in the future, I will never go anywhere else!

I was incredibly impressed with Centre PT! The space was lovely and incredibly comfortable. The staff was very knowledgeable, patient, helpful and FUN! They diligently rehabbed my elbow back to full strength which I didn't know was going to be possible. I would highly recommend Centre, its a 10/10 in my book!

A+ physical therapy. I've had back and hip pain for about a decade. I've seen doctors, other PTs, etc. with very little success. The therapists at Centre (particularly Riley and Shannon) really took the time to do a full assessment and come up with a treatment plan that started giving me relief immediately. The combo of dry needling and retraining my muscles to work the right way again have set me on the path to comfortable movement again. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff who helped navigate my complicated insurance situation.

I have been to Centre Physical Therapy over and over again because they deliver great results. Professional staff. Excellent facilities. Terrific customer service. I cannot say enough about Caty and her team. They are hands down the best physical therapists in our area.

I had an acute lower back impingement last night that made it very painful to move or sleep and I have experienced it previously and knew I needed to treat it quickly.I was able to get in at Centre Physical Therapy Oak Park and saw Riley for some manual therapy and then Mara for dry needling! The combined efforts have been helpful to get me back into better alignment so I can begin to heal. They took great care of my needs, we’re very knowledgeable on what I could do to manage pain symptoms and get back to feeling better!Thanks Centre Team! You all rock!

My neck felt terrible after a pretty severe rear-end collision, and I started seeing Emily for 2x week PT sessions. In less than a month I was feeling much better, and I totally credit Emily and the entire team at Centre Physical Therapy. Her recommendation for dry-needling was spot-on, and made a huge difference for me. She was so focused and cheerful in all of our sessions, and we were always doing new exercises so it never got boring or felt like work - I was almost sorry when our time was over! I would recommend Centre Physical Therapy to everyone.

Centre is a place filled with HEALERS. Every therapist is passionate about what they do and are excellent at it. Unlike other Physical Therapy businesses I've been to before, they are completely focused on you at your appointment. You always have the same therapist for your specific injury, and are given their undivided attention. I recommend them to all my personal training clients and am a client of theirs as well. They are easy to work with, kind and fun. I can't recommend them enough! Plus the actual space is beautiful, CLEAN and full of the best equipment.
