The staff is efficient and friendly. I LOVE the Camper Cam! I actually have it playing while my students work independently.
I appreciate the one-on-one times that are made available, as my Johnny Dollar can be a velcro pup.

tl;dr: They endangered my dog, and I'm ashamed to say I brought him back and they did it again. There are pictures included.
I needed a doggy daycare for a young husky who needed to burn off some energy during the day, so I decided to give Camp Bow Wow a try based off the reviews. Almost immediately, he started to get this orange stuff on his face and get these weird marks on his nose. I asked them what the issue was and no one seemed to know, so I asked if they could please keep an eye out for what was happening. After repeatedly pleading with them to look into this, one of the workers decided he might be rubbing on the kennel door during clean up time.
I asked if there was any way they could leave him in one of the open areas during cleaning, then call me if they needed to kennel him and I would come get him. The girl behind the desk said that would be no problem. When I brought him back, someone else told me that she didn't say that and would never say something like that, and they think that the marks on his face were coming from home. I told them that I understood if she was mistaken, and that wouldn't be something they could do, but that the conversation wasn't unclear, and I didn't appreciate the weird way they were implying I had made it up. I didn't have another place for him to go that day, so I decided to leave him and start looking into other places when I got home that evening. When I picked him up, his nose had been rubbed so much he was bleeding. I don't know if they kenneled him longer to punish me, but I wouldn't doubt it at this point.
I decided that whatever was going on, I couldn't really trust them to be up front with me, so we needed to find another daycare. I took him to another local daycare where he has been several times a week for nearly a year now with no damage to his face or nose. They say he is calm in the kennels and that they haven't had a problem with him.
Here's the part where I'm a bad dog owner. My partner and I had a last minute change of plans and needed an overnight from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. We decided that they couldn't possibly harm him in the 13 hours he would be there to sleep, so we brought him down. When I picked him up in the morning, his nose was rubbed raw again, his eye had a weird sore on it, and he was covered in the orange stuff. I asked about it just to see what they would tell me, at that point there was nothing that could say to keep me from writing this review, but I wanted to know what they would claim the problem was, and the worker shrugged and said 'he must not like the kennels.' I just left without responding. It was clear no one there cared.
Please choose another place to leave your pup. I haven't had this issue even once at his other daycare because they actually care about and pay attention to the dogs. Best case scenario is that Camp Bow Wow is ignoring their dogs and not taking their role seriously; worst case scenario is that they are actually mistreating them. I am inclined to believe the latter; I can't believe I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I'm at the point where I will literally cancel plans to avoid leaving him in this unsafe environment again. Call me a bad dog owner for how many chances I gave them, I deserve it, but please please do not make my mistake. There are places out there that will actually take care of your pup the way they deserve. This is a dangerous environment for animals.
I took him to the vet immediately after picking him up where we worked on cleaning out some of the damage they let happen. These pictures are from when we got home. He is normally a snow-white dog, and he had a bath a few days before his stay. All of the injuries, marks, and color are from a 13 hour stay at this truly awful business.

Our dog was well taken care of by the staff for the week she was there. She had friends to hang out with during the day and her own place to sleep at night. She was happy and relaxed when we picked her up.

I wanted to write this review because the staff specifically Angela and Yiselle and the owner Linda at Camp Bow Wow are truly amazing. Having an 82lb Husky isn’t easy. My Husky Kane has been going to the Oak Park Location for 5 years. I would never go anywhere else accept there. Not only do they take care of him but Dan also tries to help me train him good habits and break old bad habits.
If I work from home or at the office I like to bring my Husky to camp so he can have socialization with other dogs off-leash in a safe environment. There is also a constant video feed if your curious how you dog is doing or how many dogs are in the yard with him as well.
I highly recommend if you’re looking for a camp for your pup that you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I like Camp Bow Wow because they have video cams accessible on their app. I don’t take my dog there often so I want to see how he’s doing, how many dogs are there and get a sense of the atmosphere during day care hours. My dog’s a pup so he hasn’t had much boarding experience (one night so far which was fine). I’m home so I take him to Bow Wow for socialization with other dogs off- leash in a safe environment. So far - so good. The staff seem competent, helpful and understanding. I think they’ve seen it all!

Camp Bow Wow was easy to book for boarding and everyone there was friendly and helpful. I was able to check on my Bailey through their cameras while I was gone. I would definitely book future stays with them again. I highly recommend their services. I'm very happy with them.
