This place used to be affordable for the masses and now they have jumped on the price gouging train just like every other second hand/thrift store has. Today I walked past the window to see a side table with a $300 price tag on it. I respected them for their low prices and giving their proceeds back to the shelter for the animals but the higher price points are not justified, especially for getting these items for free.

This place is very small and well organized! It goes to a great cause and I love coming here! I got some really cute antique glass wear and the people working there are super nice.

This is such a good idea and they have amazing things ...except the staff member there-- man with gray hair is totally crabby and offputting to people that are donating for a good cause ...they need to replace him. It's a total turn off I will not be donating like other people.

It's genuinely one of the better thrift shops. Why? Prices. The pricing is fantastic. Yes this place supports a charity, but they also aren't trying to gauge me for a used item with no return policy. I wish people would stop paying higher prices to other places that are charity driven. Because this model works. They get plenty of donations, they are constantly busy, I always spend a lot of money there. Also Kevin fixes watch batteries! It's perfect.

Small but interesting selection of household goods at true thrift prices. We found an incredible original oil painting that was a total steal. It is hard to find thrift stores like this anymore!

Small store but lots of selection; from dishes and collectibles to clothes, coats and jewelry. All at very reasonable prices!

Incredibly clean and organized thrift that benefits the animal care league- their selection is very nice and their prices very fair! A lot of places these days try to take thrift store prices to eBay / flipper prices, and these folks just wanna give you nice items for a good deal. Customer service is excellent too! I will absolutely be back!

I have shopped at the Second Hand Shop for almost four years now. I always receive impeccable service when I go there, always being greeted upon entry to the shop. I love the fact that my purchases directly help the animals of Animal Care League. However, when I walk in the store each time now, the only way I can describe it is 'bare bone' and a bit of a shock. Merchandise availability has decreased greatly. During May and June of 2021 when I was in the shop, there was no artwork on the walls, no lamps, no photo frames, fewer linens, fewer stemware, and fewer dishes and silver. I was looking for a purse and there was only half of the stock I usually see in the shop. Simply said, the interesting, extrordinary pieces I would often find in the shop are becoming more rare each time I visit. I'm starting to wonder if I should look for a new resale shop. Shopping at the thrift shop is my favorite way to donate to the animal shelter. Are you closing the shop soon? Because it sure looks like it. A concerned shopper & donator
