place is small and when I was in there seemed dimly lit for a hobby shop also a bit more expensive then others around the area with an awkward feeling like I'm being watched all the time

Not a fan of the place. Not a bad selection of items, but most things can be found cheaper elsewhere. Plus the atmosphere isn't as welcoming as other hobby shops. Feels like I'm an outsider.

Marty helped me very much during my visit he is a great guy and very nice and knowledgeable person, this is a small store but somehow they have everything you need, I came into the store looking for a 1/35 Panzer model (nothing special) and I came out with a Panzer IV ausf.G and a lot of tools to start my new model. I’ll be coming back soon for all the paints and extra stuff I’ll need in the near future.

Marty and Marry are great with a great store for all you model kit needs, Marty himself is a model kit builder with much talent and a source of information with kit building. Marry is a pleasure to speak too and is able to point out what is new in the store. Always a pleasure to stop by and shop or see what's new.Need to stop here more often.

Got screached at for taking a picture of a model kit box. Wouldn't go back. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: I don't know what I wasn't nice about. I was loudly and suddenly asked "Why are you taking pictures of my stuff?!". When I was asked that I told you guys so I can compare later which one I would like to get, the visual aspect of it. Once I said that I was given a piece of paper and pen and told to just wright it down. When I was there you guys straight up told me no pictures allowed at all because "oh people will claim it as their own work". But when asked to not take pictures I did stop and didn't take any others. Also for other customers saying they where "distressed" and thought it disrespectful for looking at different prices? Not everyone can afford to go pay $100 for a model kit all the time. I was looking for something in a specific price range. So how your other customers (who where just sitting in a circle of chairs talking) thought it was oh so disrespectful to literally price compare, "oh this one id really like to build but this other ones a tad cheaper in budget and I can afford it is cool also. Let me look up what people say about the kit". I understand you aren't a discount store. I understand modeling isn't a cheap hobby. But I was in store comparing YOUR model kits to each other. And now down to the photo. The single picture I took was of the box of a Tamiya kit. The box art so I could think about if I really wanted to build this or that. After you guys told me no pictures I didn't take anymore. But never have I ever had as big of a problem arise from it as with your store. G&G, Hawker Hobbies, Royal Hobbies, Leisure hours. Never once was I ever told not to take a picture. It's free publicity. Because someone will send the picture of a kit to someone else, and then they'll hear about your store.
