Well it has been a nightmare. Went to this tax service. Hank was doing my taxes, complaining about things, and upset I think because he wanted to eat his donut and drink his coffee. He put them through again, and it flagged the IRS. So I am now waiting 408 days to get it back

Dropped off my paperwork as instructed by the staff, 3 weeks later nothing was started. Had to leave town for work so I will have to file elsewhere. Poor customer service nowadays.

Unfortunately the tax man who did my taxes for 24 years could not do them anymore due to illness. Individual Tax Service in Oak Lawn was recommended to me by my girlfriend who has used this company for awhile and currently uses. I would absolutely recommend this company to anybody. I used the tax preparer, Hank. He was delightful and took care of me in a prompt and courteous manner. Great sense of humor.

My husband & I are always thrilled to get our taxes done by Hank. We’ve been going to Individual Tax Services for years and would never go anywhere else. Hank is honest, charismatic, and does a great job! Each visit we are confident that are taxes are done correct. Thank you Hank for being our trusted tax accountant!

My wife made an appointment to have our taxes and our 3 kids done by Debbie this year. They blocked of the time needed to do the taxes.We showed up early and she had taken a walk in instead of us in our time slot. So Hank took us. He was rude and very unprofessional! Told us he was doing us a favor staying late to prepare our taxes. Complaining the entire time working on them. He would ask my wife a question and then dismiss her as well as cut her off. She had everything in order so he did not have to look for anything but that was not good enough! Was very surly and incorrigible! At one point he asked my wife a question and in the process of answering it he told her she needed an edible! Couldn’t believe we had to pay for our taxes after having to deal with such a rude and unprofessional person. We will never go back to support that local business!

This used to be a great place to get our taxes done. The owner was very knowledgeable. But over the years Hank became crabby and rude and insulting. Maybe age has made him lose his filter or he missed eating his cigarettes? I dont know. My friends and I stopped coming here.
