After 30 years of being a customer I will not go to Firestone Oak Lawn. I recently had my SUV worked on and they damaged my rim to the tune of $762. The manager denied 100% that they caused it. He wouldn't even consider that they caused it. I even had before and after pictures. I had multiple experts say that yes, one of their technicians caused the damage. Firestone corporate had no response at all even though one of their Sr Claim Managers asked how much it would cost to replace the the rim. After spending thousands of dollars after being a loyal customer 30 years I will never go there again. Firestone should change their tag line to, "Customers are the foundation of our business unless it costs us money". There are many other options available in the same area.

Do not go to Firestone Oak Lawn. I was a customer for 30 years and they recently damaged my rim to the tune of $762. Master mechanics have said that one of their technicians caused the damage. Firestone Oak Lawn never even considered that they caused the damage. Even though a senior claims manager asked how much a replacement would cost, Firestone corporate had no response. They should change their tag line to read "Our customers are the foundation of our business if and only if it doesn't cost us any money". Stay away from Oak Lawn Firestone. There are better options nearby. I will tell everyone I know to avoid Firestone Oak Lawn.

If I could give a negative star review, I would. My daughter is a college student in the area. We use our local Firestone when her vehicle is at home. Before she left for her Christmas break, she took her car in to this location for an oil change and to check her tires that had a slow leak. The tires were bought exactly a year ago through Firestone and we had bought the protection plan on them. After the car was worked on, she paid for the oil change and was told they fixed the issue with the tires, but there was no charge for that because of the protection plan. She then left the car at her grandparents' home for a month while she traveled home. When she returned last week, her tires were still not holding air and she was having error messages regarding her engine. She took it to another mechanic who found that the oil had never been changed. There was barely any oil in the car, the filter was filthy. the sticker had never even been changed in the car. We ended up having to pay an extra more than $200 to fix the issue. Plus, the tires are still leaking air. After calling the location and speaking to the manager, he agreed to refund the cost of the oil change. He could not verify that it was done but he claimed they did work on the tires by smoothing out the rims. When my daughter went to the location for them to run her credit card to get the refund, he did admit that the oil change was never done. I'm furious! It's been extremely cold there! They risked a 19 year old college sophomore being stuck on the side of the road in freezing temperatures. He still claims the work on the tires were done, but why are they still losing air. I don't believe they did any of the work. We will not ever return to this location and if corporate doesn't further make this right, we will no longer visit any Firestone.

I made an appointment for new tires showing the service writer which ones I wanted, on the day of my appointment I was told that those tires didn't fit my car and I had to choose another tire. Originally I was told this would take 1 - 2 hrs. it took 4 hrs. Before leaving I wanted to make sure that the tire pressure sensor had been reset, I was told by the service writer that the mechanic said the tires would balance themselves as I drove. I knew this was incorrect, I have owned the car for 5 years and have tires rotated every 6,000 miles and they always set the tire monitor with a hand help machine and have to walk around the car to do this. I also noted that the tires were 37 pounds, 2 at 33 pounds, and one at 34 pounds. I called the next day customer service and was asked if I would like to bring it back and it would be fixed. The only item they did was inflate all the tires to 35 pounds as factory specs. the mechanic still told me I didn't know what I was talking about. However, it is on the owner's service manual, Google, and well as Youtube. I like the tires but I don't like to service. Now I have to find a new place to have my tires rotated and the sensors set correctly.

Quick diagnosis and fast service. The heat in my car was blowing cold. It was just a missing clamp. I was able to pick my car the very next day, and I was only charged the standard inspection fee because the service was so minor.

Brought car in for new tires. They called me to tell me I needed an oil change...just had oil changed 1 month ago and told me I needed a new battery. Decided to call the dealer where I have all my work done, just had rear brakes 2 weeks ago. Dealer looked up my car and said I didn't need my oil changed and my battery is fine. Firestone also charged $110.00 for wheel alignment. I thought it would be included so the 100.00 they gave me off for the sale they just took back. From now on I will go to the car dealer!! I guess they think because I'm a woman I wouldn't know any better.

If I can I will give minus 10 stars. They taking car for for rotations and didn't even do it. Same like alignment, they not even touch the alignment nuts. According to the sheet they provide, after alignment, rear tire is worse then before. Not recommending at all, manager of this place was trying to make me being stupid.

Called this location to see if they had time to patch a tire. I was told "yeah no problem come on in at any time" I show up 5 minutes later and they say "I'll be out of there within the hour. 1.5ths later I'm told it will be at least another 1/2hr before they even look at it. Why waste people's time? If you're busy then that's understandable but don't lie to your customers. Would never give this location my business ever again.

We have had our cars serviced at this location for almost 15 years and never had a problem. To make a long story short, the staff went above and beyond for us last month when the technician at Firestone could not diagnose our problem without the help of our local dealer. The Volkswagen dealer informed us that the engine failed and would need to be replaced.Other repairs needed to be made in the car and they made a point to not fix them until the larger problem was diagnosed and this ensured that the bill was affordable.Thank you for making a very painful experience less painful.

They do not even get a Star . So. ZERO ... DO NOT TRUST FIRESTONE . They do dirty bussies and try to tick people. So, wacht out!! And look for a better tire service center.

Do not take your car here! Took my car in for a wheel alignment and they forgot to connect parts and caused more damage. They also damaged my exhaust. I almost wonder if they did it on purpose? No mechanics can really be that incompetent.
