The wait is entirely too long. I've been waiting an hr already just to be called in. I will never come here or recommend to anyone. Go to vision works. Much faster. You would have to take a whole day off of work to be seen here. Ridiculous!

I had a very disappointing experience at Family Eye Physicians during my recent encounter for an interview. Despite arriving on time, I was made to wait for over an hour. It was clear that the interviewer hadn't even glanced at my resume, as the brief five-minute interview was filled with generic questions that showed no knowledge of my background or qualifications. This experience left me with a very negative impression of the office.

I trust my family with this group. Dr. Al Khudari, performed an outstanding procedure on my sister; for the first time in last 40 years she’s able to see straight.
Let that sink in - 40 years. She is elated, and beyond happy.
Thank you the rest of the team that has made his experience stress-free!

Staff was rushed and not helpful. After driving 2hrs in traffic to make our appointment we waited another hour for the doctor. Doctor spent 3 minutes with us and didn’t remember seeing our daughter the month before. Not impressed. Unfortunately the only pediatric optometrist covered by insurance. If you can choose elsewhere.

I had gone to the Orland Park location because oak lawn wasn't accepting new patients at the time and had the absolute worst experience of my life. The doctor in Orland was so rude and was clearly upset I couldn't afford the contact fitting which I had no idea about (I've been wearing contacts since I was 12 and am 34 now) I just needed contacts is all... She threw the script at me and turned around and left... I later needed to see a doctor because my eye swelled up pretty bad and got lucky to be taken at oak lawn... Let me tell you it is night and day between locations.. Dr. Nguyen is kind and explains everything in detail she makes you feel comfortable and safe. All of the techs have been super knowledgeable and kind to me and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. THANK YOU TO THE OAK LAWN LOCATION AND DR. NGUYEN!!!! I give them 5 stars but I give Orland Park 0!!!

Took my son for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience. Everyone was so kind and patient. Salsabeel and Ellie worked well together and explained to me every step of the exam. Donia was also very helpful when we were in the room with Dr Al Khudari. Staff were patient and helpful throughout my son’s appointment. I recommend this place.

Faten, the front desk supervisor was super patient and helpful during my two visits. She even helped me with chosing my eye glasses.

Took my son here for the 4th time today. Got jumped from one room to the next for 2 hours. Trying to entertain a 3 year old for 2 hours in one room is difficult as it is. Got up and left after I asked someone how much longer it would be and he stated one more patient ahead of you guys. One patient does not take 1 hour. If there is only one doctor the ladies at the front could be giving the patients a heads up or asking if they want to reschedule. I’m taking my son elsewhere since I called another office and they stated their wait time is not that long. A regular pediatric office doesn’t even make you wait that long.

I will say FEP is really on their game in constantly letting you know you have an appt with them.Either by texting or phoning to not let you forget.I like most of the staff I've encountered with especially like Dr.N she is always patient & does not make me feel rush in anyway when I see her.She ask me questions & volunteers suggestions & doesn't pressure me at all in anyway.

Had a diabetic eye exam at the Oakbrook Terrace location. The service was excellent, Dr. Gonzalez was friendly and explained everything well.

All the details you need are in the other reviews. The staff is not super friendly or caring and your appointment time means nothing to them. I made sure to tell my PCP to take this place from her list of reccomendations as it warrants a bad experience. I sat for 90+ mins (with my one year old) and never even saw a doctor. Appointment at 9A, walked out of waiting room ~10:30A. Do yourself a favor and find another provider.
