I'm writing this review because I'm extremely disappointed with CrossCountry Mortgage. I was approved for a home equity line of credit. I qualified for the HELOC through their enotary. My wife has dementia and was unable to verify on the enotary. They cancelled the loan even though I have a power of attorney. I am extremely unhappy.

Today I was charged on a bank card with my name on it for a mortgage I do not own and without giving authorization for the transaction. Upon finally getting someone on the line to ask why this ILLEGAL transaction happened, the employee, whoever he was, yelled at me on the phone while saying I am not authorized to receive information for the account. Completely unprofessional and illegal behavior. My purpose of the call was to have my information removed from an account I have no access to and is not in my name. My lawyer will love to find out how without my consent MY card was charged on an account that I am not authorized to have access to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER

As a first time homebuyer the process can be very confusing and the need to ask a million questions is a must. CCM has been amazing in breaking down each step of the homebuying process and answering all of my questions along the way. Their communication was incredible and their overall care for their clients speaks for itself. I can not recommend their services enough and I know I plan to use them again when the time comes!

Miz and his team have been excellent since the start. Weekly updates on progress and daily updates as we got closer to closing day. The team made this a seamless transition for me while I stay focused on the house items. Minimal effort on my part and I admired the transparency during the lending process. Miz's team helped me lock in a really low interest rate by addressing some debt I didn't know I had. Could not be more grateful for this team. Thank you very much!!

I don't know why there are negative reviews because experience I had was diametrically different from what some of these reviews are saying! I presented Cross Country Mortgage with a very difficult situation and not only did they meet my expectations, they exceeded them! Everything Miz said he would do he did it. Were there some communication gaffes? Yes, however, we work through them expeditiously and I was able to get a difficult situation closed in less than 30 days!!! I really appreciate Miz and his staff and will continue to refer business their way.

Likewise Miz, I am also a God fearing woman and your perception of what happened is totally different from mine, you did not take the time to explain anything other than opening an IRA account the day we meet, also not sure who has given you information about my loan, is not your business. I will appreciate if you please stop sending me messages since I'm starting to feel harrased. All the best!!

Miz, Louie, and Alex were an amazing team to work with on our first condo purchase! From the beginning they put everything in perspective with a detailed spreadsheet that helped us look at where all our money was going and a close estimate on how much to bring to closing.
