When you go to this Walgreens pharmacy in Oak Forest, please note that Corporate understaffs their pharmacy with one pharmacist who they work from open to close, so they have to close the pharmacy for a lunch and dinner break. If you are in line waiting in your car when it's time for their break, they give the techs each a sign with the store hours and scheduled breaks to cover their faces while covering the window. They do not say, "sorry we have to close for our 1/2 hour break." They do not try to stop the line from growing by putting up a sign that people in line can see. They do not communicate in any way. They let everyone wait in line and then when its finally your turn they slap a bunch of signs in the window and completely ignore you. First of all, it is not only terrible customer service, but it is terrible to treat your employees in a way that makes them do your dirty work. You want to cut corners and not employee enough pharmacists to allow the pharmacy to remain open that you make your techs treat customers like they are not worthy enough of at the very least an explanation. I am usually pretty level-headed but this enraged me as I had a daughter who had same-day surgery and it was by that time 5 hours since I dropped off her prescription, 3 attempts to pick up the prescription and she desperately needed her pain medication at that point. I am sure this happens frequently to customers who are under duress for themselves, or a loved one who is dying or very sick. This is unacceptable, and I will never use their pharmacy again. The employees here should seriously reconsider being desperate enough to work for a corporation that would treat its employees so horribly to have to train them to treat the customers so disrespectfully.
I also went on their website to check their hours because I wanted to make sure they were not closing earlier than I expected and there was no mention of these 1/2 hour scheduled closings.

Walgreens sucks fill your scripts anyplace but Walgreens they always give me hard time I can't even get antibiotics without being talked down too screw Walgreens let them go out of business

Have been going to this pharmacy for almost 7 yrs and rarely have had an issue. I especially like their messaging me to let me know when my meds will be ready for pick-up.

DUMBEST POLICY I'VE EVER HEARD. So I looked up an item to make sure it was in stock. It was 5.99. Pick it up 6.49. Ask the reason,it's cheaper online. Soooo if I purchase online and wait for it in my car, they will send a stock boy to pick it up and bag it....but I go in and do all the leg work they will charge me more. Great business sense. SO FROM NOW ON WHATEVER YOUR NEEDS ARE, ORDER IT ONLINE,GO PICK IT UP FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN CAR AND. SAVE MONEY. .

Pharmacist rushed my entire call and hung up on me before I was even done getting the help I needed. I’d rather sit on hold than be treated like a bother for getting my prescriptions

Told me they dont accept my insurance and after several hrs of back and forth with bcbs and them calling this location, they amazingly in fact take my insurance.

Some of these incidents are probably isolated incidents if it happens more than once then I would give a bad review maybe they're short-staffed are very busy. Nobody really knows what's going on with the crew so sometimes people just are too busy for things and we're all just human but if it keeps happening I would complain other than that .

Ali the shift lead refused to take me and my wife’s passport size photos when I walked in around 7:00pm. I asked him why..he simple said “we are not doing them right now” I ask him what are the hours for passport photo so I can stop by then. He replied 8am-10pm. So I ask him why can’t it be down now then. He repeated “we are not doing them right now” I asked his name and walked away toward the exit door. He follows us and tell us “how many do you need” we reply 14 photos and said I’ll take care of you. We refuse and walked away. Not happy with the service at this location.

There was a women in pharmacy that claimed to be pharmacy manager and I was appalled that she was laughing when a patient left and she was discussing the patients medical history it looked like truly disgusted

Their pharmacy is the worst! I stood there for 35min for my child's pain medication (that was sent over a out 3.5 hrs prior) while he waited in the car after having surgery on both legs and was told by the pharmacist it would be filled right away once they got the rX changed then told by the tech I would have to come back even though they got the script changed and now my child has no pain meds. I can't leave him home alone right now to go get them and they won't deliver them. The c--+ had the audacity to feed me excuses of them being short staffed after I told them my child is in pain while waiting for them. I'm livid! They have 0 compassion for their customers.

This Walgreens is a joke. I’ve been coming here 5+ years and I swear every single time it’s a headache. I’m finally making the decision to switch. They fill prescriptions with whatever generic brand they have on the shelf. Every. Single. Time. Without calling the patient to ask/tell them. I tell them DO NOT fill a specific one. EVERY. TIME. They fill it and I have to wait or come back to get the right one. Very unprofessional and SLOW.

I went there last week for my passport Pictures and i can say if I can give them a 10 star I would Everybody was so polite professional and sweet even when I went back because they wouldn't take my passport photos At the Post Office and I had to retake them everyone was so polite and kind I would definitely will be coming here again. And a big thank you to the manager Stephanie I believe was her name the post office took it the second time round thank you.
