Excellent veterinary clinic, advice, knowledge, and care. If you care about your furry family members, this is the place to take them. Just had my two new dogs spayed and neutered, both are healing nicely and the process went without a hitch. Only issue was that my boy wasn't a fan of finding out before the scheduled appointment that he only had 48 hours left to check his nuts. I told him, "hey buddy, you have 48 hours left." He kept the same expression for almost 5 minutes. 99% sure he completely understood me and was trying to process it. Thankfully both are healing up and healthy.

I have been taking my pets to Oak Forest Animal Clinic for almost 25 years. I trust them completely. Over the years they have taken care of 2 dogs, a cat, and baby sat 3 parakeets for me, while I had my house painted. Drs. ********** there are 3, not only care about the well being of your animals, but listen to the owners of the pets. My dog, that I have ************* loves going to the Vet. He needed knee surgery 5 years ago, and ***************************** did a wonderful job! Just recently, they fit me in on a one day notice, because my dog was not feeling well, which was unusual. Dr. **** as we call him, did not rush, even though I was fit in, and took his time, giving my dog a thorough exam, and now a day later, on prescribed meds, he is totally back to his normal bouncy self. This is a wonderful, established Animal Clinic, that is always clean, even when very busy, and there is never an odor, of animals, or cleaning solutions.

Horrible bedside manner charge me for everything they possibly could. They gave my dog medicine after a procedure and he was throwing up because of it . When I brought him in to get the staples removed, I let them know he was throwing up. They charge me an office visit and $150 + for medicine he did not need and $100 for an exam !! Place has really gone downhill ever since the older doctor left the practice never again

Not sure how this facility has such good reviews. We had nothing but problems getting our two female cats spayed. Bait and switch on the price from initial call and exam. Over priced for the services provided. They cut my cats nails without permission while under anesthesia so short some of them bled. When asked why they cut them as we had trimmed them before surgery we were told “it’s a service we provide” if you’re cutting nails that short, it’s not a service and you should avoid continuing to do so. Will never be back, as now my cats are having issues post surgery. Near a thousand dollars spent for no cones to prevent licking, no after care advice or suggestions, and two traumatized angels.

Been taking my pets there since 1979. Always treated with the best of care! I did post a negative review but was wrong. I’m trying to delete but having a hard time. Tha Doc and staff are great!

Appointments were extremely easy. They were really nice during my appointment today. Dr. Welbourne took great care of my kitten and they rates were really reasonable even with meds. Dr. Welbourne was really through on explaining everything, she was amazing! This is my new go to clinic for my pets, and will make sure that both my parents and brother go here as well. ?

I have been trying for years to get my pit to the vet. He is a great dog but has horrible anxiety when it comes to the vet and gets very aggressive. I have tried numerous vet offices with no luck. Oak Forest Animal Clinic came highly recommended for dogs with aggressive behavior at the vet. We brought our pup yesterday and while it was still a challenge, they were able to successfully give him all of his vaccinations and blood work. They were calm and handled it like true professionals. Due to COVID, we were not able to go into the exam room but they recommended that we walked him to the door with them and waited in the car. When the exam was over, they brought him back to our car so that he wasn't sitting in the room stressed while they called us to walk through the exam. They've definitely gained a new puppy patient. Thank you so much!

June was her name repeat and repeat that they were on their third tile seeing her. I have annother puppy and the vet I see now told me she was not supposed to take oral flea meds under six months d my dogs are rid of fleas. The only examtney havd June was picking and searching for flea larvae. The month she took that edible flea stuff she took she developed a cough she would not eat. And they were hiding things from us and dodging your whole family calls they said rhwy would do blood work. They did not and we paid for her paw prints if it wasn't so awful and I talked to the ethics vet committee they never gave us our paws obviously she was just another dead puppy malpractice. and complete Inconsideration. They would not take my callGyer my baby they were treating was perfectly healthy int then she died in my armament. These awful people killed my Beautiful healthy puppy by negligence. and how did they miss her respirating distress. got to Markham it's in the area and the treatment is better tbsan oak oak forest animal hospital killed my puppy and I'm filing a suit when my grieving subsides. They never released her belongings because they were dodging me. They killed her and im no where near done goi g after them for answers and now since their arrogance and lies caused me pain and suffering. they sold us paw prints. WHERE ARE they. Im going to have this place shut down. They took her collar and stole money l from us and took advantage of our emotions after we watched her die. They never took blood and stole are money and never bothered with us.. now I'm going to spend every dime I have on letting her have a proper rest.I'm going after everyone of them. They know they negligent malpractice killed my baby. DO NOT got to these ignorant horrible liars. They k ow exactly who I am and they better be ready. June was my baby. Get ready to fight me on this.oak forest animal clinic stole lied and committed malpractice and killed our four month old. That was a few months back. I won't ever stop. I have not even been calm enough after what they did to us but when I feel less sad. I bug very soon I'm going to formally deal with. Liars and your messing with the wrong mother. Oak forest animal clinic. You killed my puppy and destroyed our lives. Now. I'm almost ready so you better be ready too - [ ]

Dr Ben has provided excellent care of our 12 year old yellow lab, Buddy! He saved Buddy’s life by removing his splenic stromal sarcoma, and giving us more time with him. Dr Ben is very thorough and he’s very passionate about his job and his patients. He takes his time in answering all your questions and concerns. Thank you Dr Ben!

My dog blew out her acl and had surgery by Dr Ben . He explained everything in depth. She's going on two weeks now and is doing fabulous. Highly recommend the clinic and their staff is phenomenal.
