“I feel like Macy's has made improvements over the past several years, there was a time when it was a bit of a mess and akin to Kohl's with everything always on sale. It's looking and feeling better now. I did notice on a recent trip that the men's dress clothing section has dramatically decreased - the tie selection isn't what it used to be. On a second recent trip I needed an analog wrist watch that met some very specific requirements and was under $100 and the sales lady in the watch section really stepped up to help, even though it was a small purchase in comparison to most of the other watches there. Not only did she find me exactly what I needed, she provided me with options and double checked the product information online to make sure it met my needs.”
“After my online pickup order was canceled due to out of stock items, the store manager at WHBM Oak Brook helped me find exactly what I needed for a trip. She made amazing reccomendations and gave helpful insight about recent changes to inseam lengths and fit. Walked out with 2 new favorite pairs of jeans and several cute tops.”

“I visited from Canada and stopped by Nordstrom Rack in Oakbrook to shop for sunglasses and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any Nordstrom Rack. Tammy was an absolute gem! She helped me pick out the perfect pair with honesty and care, never hesitating to tell me which styles didn’t suit me. Her energy was warm, and her sincerity truly stood out.

“The sweetest staff! I recently went in to buy my mother in law a new jacket. They didn’t have what I was looking for in stock and they were able to help by having the jacket I found which was out of stock in store, but shipped in her size to my home in Chicago. While waiting for the jacket, I received a hand written notecard from the staff thanking me for the purchase and hoping my mother in law loves her new jacket! It was the absolute sweetest thing and I have to thank the staff for what may seem like a small gesture, it reminded me of how customer service was and should be. Thank you and I will be back!”

“This store gets all the stars. The girls here and the manager Sam are all very helpful and seem happy to be at work. They are very good at making suggestions along with sizing. I have been here a couple times and spent all the money here not spent at other stores!! I always leave confident and excited with my selections. “Each time I go, I am greeted as I walk in. The store is always organized and clean, but the staff is inconsistent. The floor people are usually helpful, but the cashiers are not the friendliest. They seem to go through the motions with checkout.”
“These clothes are such good quality and such soft Fabrics. I bought a bunch of pieces in the WearEver collection for work and this is the most comfortable I am probably ever going to be. I am definitely going to visit J.Jill again to purchase more clothes. Had lots of help from Denise a sales associate who is wonderful and had great suggestions. “Oakbrook Evereve has the best stylists, they are all super friendly and approachable! I had the pleasure of working with Dana. I have recently lost weight and been styled by her 2x now. She always remembers my name, asks about kids and remembers the styles I like and my sizes. I am so impressed by her friendly demeanor, trendiness and knowledge of what will look good on my body type. She has not only educated me on trends and what works best for my body type with jeans etc but she makes me feel good about myself! I walk out feeling confident and good in my skin! I have gotten so many compliments on all of my new clothes. I have told all my friends to ask for Dana. I was also impressed by how she multi tasked when super busy and was helping myself, another co worker and two other customers all at once. She ran around that store like it came second nature to her. The store is lucky to have such a dedicated employee!! I highly recommend stopping in!”

“I love shopping at GAP for baby clothes! The store has such a beautiful selection—everything is stylish, comfortable, and made with great quality materials. The location in Oakbrook is especially nice and well-organized, making it easy to find what I need.
The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that during my last visit, the cashier forgot to remove a security tag from one of my items. With a baby, it’s hard to find time to go back to the store, which is a bit frustrating.
Other than that, I highly recommend this store! Just make sure to double-check your items before leaving.”
“I have been going to the Oakbrook location even though I live within walking distance to the downtown location. I prefer the Oakbrook location because of Gabby. “I have visited this store a few times and never had a bad experience. The store is large, clean, and well organized. The staff is helpful when needed. This location is large enough to carry extended sizes which is really nice! Parking is free and has not been a problem when I have visited.”
