Love this store but the customer service was lacking. I have been to the one in the Loop, Naperville and here. Everywhere else the associates went above and beyond, price matching, offering to call other stores to see their stock etc. The associate I dealt with the other day when I asked about a specific product told me they did not have it and it was probably discontinued... I was told at the lab store in the city it was one of their most popular colors so I'm not sure if this is true but it just seemed as if they didn't care and didn't want to help. They did not offer to call the Naperville store or anything. I did so. And was told, "Hope you have better luck at Naperville."

Gaby provided excellent assistance as I inquired about journals and pens that customers and writers prefer. She even showed me the pen tips and ink colors. Her attentiveness and enthusiasm for merchandise led to my purchase.

This is the best run store in the entire mall. Lauren the manager is lovely and so professional! Every employee is so welcoming and knowledgable about everything in the store as well. If you need any gift ideas for someone this place truely is an inspiration for that. I highly recommend coming here for all your invitation needs and cute gifts!

I do enjoy buying cute stuff because I love making scrapbooks and Paper Source doesn't disappoint me because they have lots of what I need. I keep on coming back here and I also recommend it to my friends and work colleagues. The staff here are also so nice, knowledgeable and friendly! If you don't shop here, you are really missing out!

Great experiences till today. While I was finding a card the girls up front decided that would be a good time to gossip about their friends. Then wrap my gift. So once got to the counter was surprised to see nothing done. Then spent 20 minutes additionally wrapping my small box. Also blamed it on the tape & good for a customer to know that the " store is broke" - employees exact words, something about how the budget wouldn't allow certain things like you paper towels. All in all still love the quality of the materials here but definitely need work on customer service.

This is my place to go for stationary. A well-written letter or note on stationary made with a fine, weighty paper says so much more to the recipient than an email or text. At least for those of us who didn't start life with computers and smartphones.

I've always been a bit fan of stationery and have shopped at Paper Source both in person and online. When I saw the Oakbrook Center mall directory, I was stoked to see Paper Source and that it was open until 9pm on a Monday evening. I naturally had to come in to check out the selection. It's dangerously addicting and it was hard to control myself from wanting to take the store with me. I came in wanting to see what I can get last minute for others but ended up spoiling myself -- self care, right. I found a cute journal that's good for up to 3 years, and it's a daily question you answer about self care which I think is truly necessary in these trying times. I can use some daily affirmations, and then I found these cute narwhal pens so I had to get them too. The staff were friendly and available as needed. I love that I wasn't upsold anything, I wasn't followed around, and I was given the space to do my thing. When I had questions the two ladies were more than happy to assist me, though they couldn't find an item I was looking for, I still appreciate their efforts and how they worked together. It's one of the better experiences I've had in person at Paper Source. I also wasn't pressured to sign up for anything. I do have to say that the Paper Source location I've been to in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood does have a bigger selection than this one. However, the brand and this location is still pretty consistent, it just doesn't have everything and if they do it's in smaller quantities. I do recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for stationery items, greeting cards etc.
