New Delta policy 11/2019. Saw dentist 1/2/20, who recommended that I call Delta to confirm a deep cleaning (code D4341) would be covered. I called Delta and the rep assured me that the procedure would be covered at 50% and that there was no waiting period for the procedure. On 2/4/2020 I received a bill from dentist saying Delta denied the claim. When I called Delta, the second rep said it was denied because there is a 6-month waiting period for deep cleanings: the opposite of what the first rep told me. I don't know whether Delta and its reps are liars, incompetent, or both, but I canceled my policy with them immediately and want to share my experience with everyone who has or is considering buying a policy with this shady, dishonest company.
