Allison came and wow'd the owners of our hotel and created a beautiful greenscape of topiaries for our outdoor space at a very reasonable price. We also purchased several topiaries for our indoor areas as well. Highly recommend this company! Very personable and went above and beyond what we expected! Thank you Allison!

My shopping experience was excellent. My issues began with their delivery service. I did not receive confirmation calls. Definitely no calls 30 min before delivery. They scheduled me for an afternoon delivery but made a surprise attempt to deliver that morning , which I could not accommodate. It was then rescheduled for the next day. Once again,no confirmation of time for delivery. I had to contact them. A photo indicates the condition of the ottoman delivery.

Very disappointed with the quality of Ballard Designs. I ordered the Tuscan 3-pieve bookshelf for nearly $4,000 and it was delivered missing a leveling foot and a blemish to one of the shelves.

I've have always had a positive experience with Ballard Design staff online and at the Oak Brook store. Brian and Angela at the Oak Brook store were extremely helpful and friendly in my most recent over the phone purchase that I needed to have shipped to me. I highly recommend this store!

Friendly staff who want to help, and furniture with classic designs that are neither overly trendy or old fashioned. The biggest disappointment is the quality and workmanship. After seeing a number of pieces online that we were interested in, we drove an hour to this location to find virtually every piece looking like it had been assembled in the dark. Seams were sloppy and visible, gaps around cabinet doors were uneven all around, latches were poorly attached, and the doors on virtually every hutch, cabinet, storage console, etc wouldn’t stay closed on their own. It’s not the most expensive furniture out there, but it’s not cheap either so I’d except to find quality at least as good as ikea.

Fantastic Service!! All of the design staff is wonderful! Everyone is greeted at the door with a warm welcome and the staff is always willing to help! Highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase some furniture or some affordable accessories.

I came in the store not sure of what sofa I wanted but had heard about how people got great custom sofas here at the store in oakbrook. I worked closely with a designer and got the best service, great ideas for the whole room, and many different fabric options to choose from. I ended up leaving so excited about the fabric swatches to see if they would work in my living room and I went back later that week and ordered! Such a great atmosphere, really nice workers, and a wonderful experience I'd recommend to anyone! Go to Ballard!!

To make a long story short. I ordered several pieces of living room furniture in Dec. 2020. I told them it was being delivered to Florida and I would not be there after May 30, 2021. I was assured it would be there prior to that date. Some of it was. The coach and chair where not. I was told that it would be delivered after I left , and that if I could not arrange for a delivery I would have to pay storage fees. I made numerous phone calls, sent numerous emails to Ballard's Customer Service area and my concierge and sent several letters and emails to the President of Ballard's and Cornerstone Brands which owns them. These where never responded to, I understood the reason for delay, they blamed it on Covid. I was upset by the lack of response. This was much more than one or two emails and letters. I finally got a good customer service rep in Sept. who arranged with Ballard to take care of the storage. I spent hours on this. After agreeing to store items the shipping company also never responded to emails and phone calls about the delivery date and at one time in Sept. threatened to return the merchandise. It took several phone calls to Ballard to fix this. When it was finally delivered it was the incorrect type of delivery. This despite a phone call where we agreed on the specifics of this. I was reluctant to deal with a catalog company for this size purchase and now I know I was right. The product is fine but they have the worst customer service I have ever seen, They never get back to you. I will never purchase from them again. I would hate to see what will happen if there was a problem. Deal with a local furniture store.

I went in to the Oakbrook Mall location today (2-3-2021) and spent about 15 minutes walking around, trying things out, measuring and looking at fabric samples. The store was NOT busy. NOT ONE employee bothered to acknowledge my presence, not a friendly hello or welcome, not a "how can I help you today?" Nothing. Here's the frustrating part and the part Ballard should pay attention to...I had LOTS of money to spend and was fully prepared to place an order TODAY. The last thing I want to do during COVID is go from store to store. If staff will only interact with customers who make an appointment, then a very clear, large sign should be placed on the door. What a horrible first impression. This makes me wonder if service is this bad at the front door, what kind of poor service will there be in the order process, delivery, support, etc.?! I will not be back.
