The saleswoman Romana was extremely rude and condescending. They are a bunch of mean rich people that think they can talk to people any way they want. This store has a bunch of overpriced low-quality jewelry. Do not go to this store ever they are very anti-semetic. I was yelled at for wearing my kippah in the store. Outrageous! It takes zero dollars to be a good person btw Romana and the other girl helping me.

The quality runs top to bottom. Barb, the owner, is good to her staff, clients, merchants. Romana, Patty, Jennifer couldn't be more wonderful! They never push anything, will give honest opinions whether a piece works or doesn't for you. It's all about what speaks to you and what looks best on you. They have access to pieces running the full price range gamut...some I can only admire yet they were more than happy to have me try them on for fun :) :) The items are quality. You really correctly get what you pay for. I know the diamonds will be high grade, the precious metal will wear well, etc. If there's the slightest malfunction from an accident (eg I dropped an earring so the clasp became off kilter) they take care of it. Their service is phenomenal.

When searching for a jeweler, it can be a trying process as it is akin to shopping for a new/used car. You are never quite sure if the salesperson is trustworthy or not. From the moment I entered A Marek and met Romana, I immediately felt comfortable and knew that I was in good hands. Romana is so inviting, kind, and patient, but most of all, she listened to what my boyfriend and I wanted for my engagement ring and she made our vision a reality. Throughout the process, we also worked with the other staff members and they too made our experience a very pleasurable one. We are very grateful and we could not be happier!

Awesome - could not have had a better experience! The sales staff, especially Dana, were extremely helpful and personable. I did not give them all that much to go on, but they listened to what I did know and they were able to help me find the perfect engagement ring at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and will work with you to meet your needs. My fiancee and I will be returning for our wedding bands.

I've shopped at A.Marek for over 5 years. I discovered them while visiting Chicago, as I lived in NYC at the time. I've always received the absolute best service! My job relocated me back to Chicago, and I continue to shop with A.Marek. The staff is very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and always reaches out to me when new items come in that they think might interest me. They've repaired strands of pearls, added links to necklaces and I was more than pleased with their work. They are a true fine jeweler. I've found price points vary and I can't always afford what I'd like, but I always find that perfect piece that I can afford.
