There are time when they have great items on sale for a low price. Specially the tools. There are some items that need staff assistance and sometimes they are hard to find. I bought some 3/4 of boards and wanted to have it pre cut. I asked the register and had the guy paged twice. I waisted 23 mins for the guy to show up. Also the tool rental was great. One time i rented a carpet doctor vac. It worked really good. And the 50lb electric jack hammer worked right for my project. In general the store is great. They carry almost all tool brands for diy repairs. Great store.

Anika is one of the MOST knowledgeable people at Home Depot! She is absolutely AMAZING! Super friendly and she knows her stuff. Although she works in one specific department (doors), she can answer questions about many, many products, and other issues. She is responsive and timely in her updates. There was an issue with a handle with my door installation; but Anika QUICKLY resolved it and did a terrific job working with the company. She WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND and it truly a Class Act! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anika. She has made my Home Depot experience an absolute FABULOUS one consistently! She has helped me many times and has been a true professional who knows the in's and out's of Home Depot! If I could give more stars I would. Thank you Anika! You totally rock!!!

We purchased a Maytag washer, and an extended warranty, from Home Depot in Northlake. The washer is not even a year old, still under MayTag warranty. After giving us the run around for close to a month, A tech comes, says washer is rusty underneath, tells us that is because we got water in the basement, and says we are just out a washer. May Tag does not have cover it. No discussion no investigation, just his word. I told them they sent a Tech earlier, and said they would fix it, but needed a part. MayTag told me they had no record of sending anyone else. THE WORST PART IS, Home Depot is keeping the money we gave them for the extended warranty, and it was not even in effect yet, they did absolutely nothing for that money. We always have gone to HomeDepot, we have spent a lot of money there over the years. We will never buy anything there again.

I had a vinyl plank floor installed in my bedroom. AMan Akexander did the work and it turned out beautifully. He was so neat andi would recommend your company and Alexander to anyone!!! careful and he cleaned up beautifully at the end of the job. Such a hardworking young man. I am proud of the job he did!!!

They need new people at the service desk, lonzo is rude and doesn't even want to listen to a customers concerns and just says "that's unfortunate". Horrible never shopping there again

I ordered a door from homedepot.com. It was to be delivered to the LAke Zurich Il location. It was delivered to the Northlake Il store which is a 2+ hour round trip for me. The would not deliver it to the LZ store and wanted me to send my contractor to pick it up. This is a special order and would not sell easily to others. After hours on the phone I finally said I would cancel the order and reorder until the finally got it to the right store. This seemed to convince the computers they had other options and they delivered the door to me at no cost. I will not order online again from Home Depot.

They never stock their shelves. Website says they have items but they’re not stocked. Then if you ask for help, they aren’t great at checking. Had to ask 3 people for help, and ultimately found the item by myself on the upper shelves and had to ask another employee to grab it. No on who said they were checking for me, ever returned, and the item was on a stock shelf 5 feet away, sooo I doubt they ever intended to go check.

When we left Royal Pipe today, forced to shop at Home Depot due to Royal's complete lack of interest in our business, I expected a standard Big Box experience. I was delighted to be proven wrong. Everyone was gentle and helpful. My dad asked for help and was paired with a specialist. We were out the door in minutes with everything we needed. My dad is almost completely blind. Thank you for being patient and helpful.

THE HISPANICS AT THIS HOME DEPOT ARE RACIST TOWARDS BLACKS! Politics all throughout they set up many black employees to get fired. They trash Gustavo Cruz and every last Jose in that store Racist asl. They treat their black employees like trash.

Ordered a refrigerator online, told me it was ready at the store 5 days later. Went to the store for the pick up, the customer service rep handed me a 2ft by 2ft box. Obviously not my refrigerator. Customer service told me my refrigerator was sold out now, HomeDepot's website said its still available... so I got a "refund". Still have not received the funds back.

customer service is terrible here. we bought a clothes dryer after being assured it was in stock and would be delivered April 3rd. we called on the 2nd to make sure it was still arriving. they said it was on back order and wont be available til the 23 rd. we canceled, called Abt and its going to arrive in 6 days. same model and its $70.00 less. never again :(

The customer service is terrible. I visited the store on Friday to purchase promo items was given the runaround. Finally a manager by the name of Jose approved purchase and I went to cashier Upon reaching cashier a thin African American female took it personal and didn't want to process my order. She then discussed the matter with two other f/b and 1 Hispanic cashier. While waiting for the longest they still refused to sell me the promo item and told me to go into Chicago to purchase said item. Unknowingly the heavy m/w loss prevention person was contacted and provided idle conversation. Customer care was contacted. Names of the cashiers were not visible. I would give 0 stars for customer service but must post 1

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service at the Northlake location!! Everyone in the store has an attitude that seems like they're annoyed because they have to work.
