4.75/5 stars only because its closest shared parking lot is and for decades has been very, very full. (Or at least when I visit/ed.) So, park at the nearby REI lot and go for a short walk while I round up the stars to 5.
This is a great store with a very knowledgeable rep. There's oodles of stuff to try and buy here, such as excellent office chairs and desks, along with some books to read and get.

I just received my Omni Motion Perfect chair and it is fantastic. For years I have had the standard chair. Rebecca at the Northbrook store was so helpful, informative and gracious working with me to decide to upgrade the chair. I am so glad I did! The delivery service was on time and professional. There was a mix up with the freight elevator reservation for today and they had to return later today to complete the delivery.Not a hint of frustration or aggravation with the situation. They were clean and thoughtful in building and installing the chair in my small apartment. They were gracious with their time explaining the workings of the chair. A fantastic purchasing experience. I'm considering buying a recliner and started by searching online. I have some back and joint pain issues. I came across recliners (and beds) that use a zero gravity position. My aunt and sister had mentioned visiting Relax the Back. After searching their website, the store had what I was looking for. I visited and spoke with Becky. She is very knowledgeable and gave me details and helpful points when considering spinal health; from how a desk chair should be setup to the various recliners offered. Although I did not try them, they also have adjustable beds. If you are searching for and want to experience spinal health products, I recommend visiting Relax the Back.

My husband is interested in a Zero Gravity chair and we stopped by to look at one. Evan was a great help. He is very knowledgeable about the products and took the time to explain how the chair works. We are still doing our research but will be going back to make a purchase very soon. Great service and products!
