I tried my best to not have to leave a negative review, but I hope it will help future customers and the company as well.
I bought a Pearl product from them on 6/9/22, and after less than two years in use, the pump cracked on the top and water leaked into my finished basement. That's upseting, but it can happen to anyone. I called PumpBiz customer service, explained the problem, and was informed that someone would call me back shortly, but that did not happen. After calling again I was instructed to send an email with pictures to someone who's name isn't necessary to be mentioned. I sent the pictures on 6/7, clearly showing the problem. No answer. I inquired about the case on 6/17, and got the reply saying my email had no pictures attached. So I forwarded the original email from 6/7, with the same pictures. After some back and forth emails and phone calls, where I was informed that the warranty had expired (which had not when the problem ocurred, and when I first contact them), the last time I heard from them was through an email once again questioning where the leak was, so I sent them the picture with the arrow. No more contacts after that.
Most consumers would appreciate a straight, honest approach, which would save time and aggravation (and bad reviews). It is clear that replacing the pump or parts would be a challenge and maybe not possible. Why not state that from the begining, thus limiting expectations and gving the customer the option to insist on it or not? Here is an example: "Sir, we are very sorry the pump failed. That's extremely rare as those pumps are high quality and almost never break. However, I regret to tell you that although we can try our best, it might take months to solve this, and we still might no be able to replace the pump or the parts for you. The warranty is honored by the manufacturer, not by us, so we are powerless to interfere in the process. I know that's not what you would like to hear, but that's the truth. What would you like for us to do?"
I believe PumpBiz is a good company and Pearl a good brand. Still, great companies and brands are usually compromised by poor customer service. I hope they see this review and improve their process. I ended up buying the same pump to replace the broken one, but from a different seller.

We had basement watchdog battery fail. Could not locate one anywhere. Apparently they don't make them anymore. Not on Amazon, Ace, Home Depot, Lowes...no where until we found PUMP BIZ. Web site said they had two in stock. We emailed to confirm prior to ordering. Jeffrey immediately emailed back indicating that yes they had two. We ordered. Jeff came bank with the hour said packed and ready to ship UPS. Also gave instructions on battery install. What great service. While we are only a residence we will always go to Pump Biz for future sump or other pumps we might need. Also will spread word about this company to all we can. Thank you PUMP BIZ for such great employees and customer service !!

Ordered 11/9 at 3:21 pm. Ordered a small plastic part that weighs almost nothing. Paid $13+ for shipping. Eight days later (3:21 pm on 11/17) I have nothing. Incredibly slow service for the price!!
