I have called multiple times over the past year. I've never been able to speak to anyone. Phone prompt states press 0 to speak to operator. When you press 0 it returns you to the previous message. On the rare times when I've been able to leave a message-usually regarding CD rates- I never receive a phone call back. Several years ago I did do business with this bank and really don't know why I am interested in doing business again. I guess it's just because they are local. What a disappointment for Wintrust.

16 bills came out of their ATM at their Northfield branch with multiple pieces taped together, 1/5 of the bill torn off and all of the money was filthy. It looks like a second grader loaded the ATM. This isn't the worst thing in the world but with so many other choices, I would go elsewhere for my banking needs.

My dad has a local account here and the tellers are very nice. I hate to say it, but I am very lazy and use the drive-thru window instead of walking into the bank. I especially like the holiday decorated deposit slips that they use...a little cheer for the sometimes drab winter weather. A word to the wise, don't even attempt to make a left turn headed westbound on Shermer or you're asking for an accident.

Wonderful and friendly customer service! I went in with my toddler after work to open up an account and they were so accommodating with crayons and paper for my child to entertain herself while I opened an account. The service was very quick and we were on our way without any meltdowns. I have never been in and out of bank that quickly. Very pleased :)
