“I came here to get a replacement battery for my key fob. My cars dash has been showing me that the key fob had a low battery. I went to Batteries + Bulbs. They told me it would be $18. I have 2 key fobs so that would have been $36 (before tax). That seemed way to excessive so I declined. Today I went to Walmart to see if they had my battery for my key fob a CR 2032. I found a 4 pack of Duracell Batteries for $11.74 (before tax). I'm so glad I thought of going to see if they carried my battery. Not only did I pay 1/3 the amount @ Walmart that Batteries & Bulbs was charging but I have 2 extra batteries for future use”
“This is a review of the pharmacy only. While there have been interminable waits at the Lincolnshire Walgreens, at Libertyville they have been organized, efficient. We tried a walk-in for vaccines (two separate times). They were happy to give the shots quickly, no hassle. On one visit, a prescription was checked (it had snagged at Lincolnshire). The pharmacist straightened out the issue in less than a minute. It seems that they know how to get things done, efficiently.”

Prices on non-pharmacy items seem higher than other stores, but sales and discounts often make this location worth a stop. Nearby downtown Des Plaines stores, businesses, and restaurants also offer quick-stop convenience for walkers, train commuters, and local residents.”

“This is the closest Walmart to my home, but also my favorite. They have recently remodeled and everything is so much more organized. In the spring they had a nice selection of potted plants, too. Definitely recommend this location.”

“This review is based solely on my experience with getting a vaccine at the pharmacy. I called to see if they take walk-in and was told they do, but I may have to wait 30 minutes. I had a horrible experience with another Walgreens and their inconsistent info. So, was really hoping the same wouldn't happen here. I went in and all the pharmacists were super friendly. I was able to get my vaccine and was out of there in 20-25 minutes!”

“I sent money to my son, but I didn’t check the destination address, and the teller automatically printed the former info and destination were I used to send the money to.I realized the mistake the next day, when the money was not available for my son. The Western Union employees were & patient and so helpful. They were able to correct the mistake right away, and I was able to Re-send the money.Western Union Skokie location,THANK YOU.”
“I've been going here for years, we live nearby. Pharmacy is generally good, occasionally out of a script but not too bad. Verica in the cosmetics is the reason for 5 stars! She's always got a good suggestion, a coupon and a smile. She's saved me a ton but also is just really nice. A dedicated cosmetics employee is not usually expected in a drugstore but what a welcome sight!”
