It was my favorite Mariano's until I had this final unpleasant experience. I understand we all have bad days but this interaction was so unnecessary ... when TONY (introduced himself to me as a manager ) at the HOT/READY/DINNER store section so unpleasantly talked to me and how he followed me and made me uncomfortable getting my groceries throughout this store. Mr Tony needs to take more "management courses " and learn how simply and just kindly without "his personal comments" perform his work duties especially as a manager. Now I rather drive much farther than shop at this location . So disappointed and will avoid this store. Maybe Miss. Heather (also manager there) could give him few positive pointers on how to be nice and helpful and just easy going like she is when people ask for help.

This pharmacy always goes above and beyond what any other pharmacy has done. For someone uninsured and with many health issues it’s SO appreciated!

This is the best pharmacy I’ve ever been to! The pharmacist Susie is simply amazing. She is very kind and is always so helpful. She also takes the time to answer any questions I have, and I never feel rushed.

A large Mariano's with a diverse set of products much like their other locations. The parking lot is quite large and not too hard to navigate around as businesses surrounding it don't really cause much cross traffic. The inside is clean, with some nicer displays and dining areas that I don't always see at Mariano's locations. The prices are fairly competitive, with plenty of items on sale though some require fairly large quantities before the sale price is triggered.Though the store is enormous, products aren't grouped too tightly so there is plenty of space to navigate around the store (though, I would prefer a bit more aisle spacing as some areas seem to have a good amount of unused space). This also means that the selection is large, but not as enormous as if they used less space for making attractive displays and instead packed products more tightly on the aisles. Checkout is fairly quick, with a good number of self checkout kiosks available to use.

It’s unforgettable experience because none of other pharmacy staff working like him!Everyone is so nice working there!!! I’m so lucky that I can get help from Anthony for my presentations and other issues too! Thank you Anthony working there?

I've been shopping here for quite a few years as it's convenient for me. Not quite as good as the first few years. I'd prefer it to Jewel because the prices are LOWER than Jewel, and lower than some others. Both good and bad here. Some good sales such as on pre-cooked salmon, once in a while. Sometimes good deals on Stauffers meals, such as 5 for 10. That's good since I like Stauffers. Hot bar used to be better -- the best item was definitely the wings! They used to serve fantastic chicken wings and I would always grab those. But lately they've disappeared entirely. Off the menu, despite the fact that the hot bar cost has increased. The second best was, for me, the Pot roast. But again, lately some weird thing such as they mix in a whole lot of potatoes with the beef so you have to carefully search around for meat. Strange. Aside from that, the hot bar is a decent value, and some variety. Produce, okay but my wife and I notice that bananas are always banged up with bruises as if the vendor threw them into the bins? Store in general, they clutter up the aisles with displays. Honestly, you can barely make your way with your cart through some of the aisles. I'm sure these displays bring in some extra revenue for the store but make it difficult to get around. Heinen's is classier, they don't do that. The people working deli are nice, always pleasant. Most of the employees that are serving customers are pleasant, so no complaints.

Dr Kenny is the best, he's always friendly and remembers me and my family by name. Really adds a personal touch to his pharmacy

Greedy management understaffs the store. Customers have to wait in long lines to check out. Employees get burned out. Awful

Of the larger chains of grocers around Chicago, Mariano's is one of my favorites. I've been to the Glenview location several times and have yet to write a review. I was there again yesterday, giving me a good reason to write one.First, Marianos is also one of the more expensive grocers. Their pricing is generally higher than even Jewel's. Their selection is much larger and much more diverse. They also have many gourmet foods, precooked foods, excellent baked goods, a coffee bar, and wines. They also have a large selection of lovely produce. This location has a nice dining area, so if you want to pick out food and eat it there, and there is nice seating. (Unfortunately, the beautiful views from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the parking lot.)We did find a few good deals we couldn't pass up. For example, finding freshly caught Ahi Tuna for the price they had set was unbelievable. I am always impressed by their fresh meat and fish selections. Yesterday, the variety of fresh fish available was limited, however. So, while I like the store and always find things to buy, their pricing is generally a factor in deciding to go to Mariano's or elsewhere. In the days when it was family-owned, things were more reasonable. Those days ended a number of years ago when they were sold to a large grocery chain.

Needed a place to get coffee and sit and work. Bought a cheese danish which was excellent and an Americano. Nice relaxing place to sit and meet up with someone or to get work done. The trickling of water in the garden area by seating adds to the experience.

Went there on 10.31. Bought asssorted pre cut fruit for 5.99 Cantaloupe and honey dew unripe/inedible. Also bought blue berries that had a white film on them that would not come off from washing. Are they trying to kill me with pesticides? How can they pre package fruit that is awful. These folks are not novices ( or are they?) This is common sense stuff that should never arise. Why are we even having this conversation. It kills me to say but I will go to a place that is much more money like Heinens/ Sunset. At least they care about their service and the health of their customers. I would expect better produce from a third world country

Maybe even six months ago I would have given this store a 4 or a 5. In the last few months, it has really deteriorated. The other Glenview store (on Waukegan) is better, but this one is practically attached to my fitness center. I was here at about 6:30 tonight. The self-checkout line had about 10 customers waiting and only one cashier was open. Last night, only three self-service checkouts were open. The salad bar and hot bar have a fraction of what they used to have. I understand why prices are higher now, but they're often running out of items. Starting in the summer, some really irritating salespeople from A T and T were hawking products to customers trying to leave the store. Once there were two at the same time. This isn't the store's fault, of course, but it takes forever to exit the parking lot going east. The green light is about 20 seconds, if that, and you'll wait several minutes for the next one. If you're not already in the queue, forget it.
