The most disgusting, disrespectful customer service I have ever experienced. Which, I only needed because they are so disorganized that the products I needed were unstocked at the top of the shelf needing a whole ladder to get to. Still, this was too much to ask to get it down and two different male Lowe's employees tried everything in their power to refuse to get on the ladder and give me the products. Demanding to know why I need said plumbing items, and sneering that I'm too stupid to know what I need or capable of comprehending simple projects.. This did not end even as I held my ground on my knowledge on MY PROJECT NEEDS. Ironically, neither man was even remotely knowledgeable or competent AT ALL and said laughably ignorant things in the world of basic plumbing. This was obviously connected to the fact that I was a woman and they had to DO THEIR JOB AND GET ON A LADDER. Grossly incompetent place, go literally anywhere else.

I am not sure where to start. I recently bought a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The fridge was delivered with a dent so I sent it back. Once they delivered a new fridge as well as a new stove (I needed gas and not electric - my fault) they left it in the middle of my living room even though they were supposed to install it. So I had to call AGAIN to have someone install the stove and fridge because they are not the same people who install the microwave and dishwasher. This is for a high-rise so each job required a certificate of insurance for the delivery of the items as well as a separate certificate of insurance for the installers. Then, I also had Lowe's install new flooring for my condo. It was a separate team to deliver and a separate team to install with again separate certificates of insurance. Yes, this is a hassle when I have to reserve an elevator, pay deposits, etc. And just to add to the headache, Lowe's forgot to deliver the molding for the floors so I had to go through the process twice for the floors!!!! No, I will not work with them again. I have another unit in a separate high-rise and I bought a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher from Abt. They delivered, installed and took the trash away in 1 visit!! Yes, 1 day, 1 visit, 1 team of people. The difference in cost was not much however the customer experiences was leaps and bounds better than Lowe's. Do yourself a favor and shop at Abt!!!

I frequently visit this location as it's waking distance from the Tesla Supercharger in the same shopping center. What I love about this location is that it's fairly empty a MAJORITY of the time. It gives me the freedom to move along the aisles without it being too crowded. I am also not hounded by the workers asking if I need help. This is actually what I dislike about the place as well though. When I need help, it's hard to find. I believe that since the store has such a low walk through rate, they don't hire as much staff to man the aisles. All else, they usually have ample stock of what I need compared to other locations. They store is clean, organized and large. I just like the fact that it's located in the area where the next home improvement store is about a mile or so farther and around a busier area by the Costco

I'm in agreement with several (or more) people complaining about delivery/customer service. First, I opened a Lowe's business card, and instead of my actual name on the card, they put my business name which just so happens to be an address. I've never owned a credit card without my name on it, and think it's a bad idea. And when the mail comes, the first line on the envelope is an address, with my actual home address below that. Why? Why, Lowe's, would you do that? It's a matter of time before my mail gets misplaced. Next, I ordered a double bathroom vanity. The delivery was delayed one week because mine got damaged before delivery (seems like Lowe's loses tons of money on carelessness). Then, it got delayed another day and I had already cancelled an appointment so I could be home. The vanity finally came today. The day I bought the vanity, I asked the employee if the delivery men could get it up the stairs. "No problem." They have equipment to get it upstairs." The delivery guys did not work for Lowe's and at the front door told me there was no order for taking it up the stairs and did I want it sent back to the store? They did ultimately agree to take it upstairs, which looked pretty dangerous (there was no "equipment" to help them). The box was torn about 12 inches where 2 sides of the box met, yet the delivery guys would not open the box to check the condition of the vanity. If it turns out this one is damaged also, somehow it's going back down the stairs. This has been a very frustrating event. I will never, ever buy anything from Lowe's that has to be delivered.

I ordered an item on line thinking it would come from Lowe's warehouse or another Lowe's store. Turns out, it is coming from a 3rd party vendor that Lowe's partners with. DO NOT order anything that Lowe's uses a 3rd party vendor for. I hope Lowe's will start vetting their vendors and put some expectations on levels of service and delivery times. Can't keep using the Covid supply chain excuse. The only thing Lowe's got right was my order confirmation when I placed the order. Issues: I have been waiting over a month for item I was told via Lowe's rep would take 7 days 3rd party vendor has charged my credit card three times Lowe's customer service has 1 hour wait time to get status of order I still don't know when I will receive my item Done with Lowe's.

This started when we contracted Lowes to install vertical blinds in our living room. The sales process was OK. Actually getting the blinds installed was horrible. It took numerous phone calls and endless wait times. When we connected, the person connected, they had no idea how to help us. This is possibly the worst customer experience I have had in my 7.5 decades on earth. Believe me you will do better elsewhere. I hope someday I will have the blinds I prayed for!

My experience at Lowe's on Willow was superb. I needed the manager and after being paged did not show. The customer service gentleman, Matt went running around the store and escorted him to me to make sure I was taken care of. Thanks Matt!

Lowes is awesome -and so is Tom in the refrigerator and appliance department. I used to shop at another well known store in the area but my experience at Lowes has been better -honestly. Three years ago, I needed a new washing machine - the other shop said it would take 2 weeks to get one ! (Pre-Covid ) Faced with a massive amount of family laundry and already a three hour Jaunt to a now closed Wilmette laundry spot, I knew i needed a different answer. On a whim, I called Lowes at willow at Waukegan in northbrook . The fellow who helped me couldn't have been nicer. He told me to pop in and survey the selection. I did and the next DAY I had a new machine delivered! Fast forward to this week. My 13 year old fridge from the 'other' place died. I had to throw everything out. The potential repair bill was &1,000. That seemed crazy. I called Lowes. A super guy named Tom answered. He was incredibly helpful. The next day around 2:00 pm I went into see Tom about a whirlpool fridge that was on special. He was extremely helpful - not in any way high pressure -and even helped me with an unrelated purchase in another department. About my fridge purchase, he went above and beyond on issues like my water line and the processing of my credit card over the phone --after I had gone home and triple checked the sort of dicey measuring and fit issue. He even hand delivered my receipt !!! Fast forward a day and a half later - today (a Sunday!!) My refrigerator has been expertly delivered and is in place and working. Thank you Lowes !! Customer for life!

Every experience has been flawless. The employees couldn't be nicer or more helpful. It's my 1st pick over the 2 Home Depots in my area, always a good stop, decent prices & selection.

Lowes/Northbrook. - Worse customer service ever. In Dec, I ordered window treatments. .I used an installation co. recommended by Lowes. Took a few weeks to get on their schedule and when one guy cam out I felt his measuring wasn't correct and went back to Lowes. Christy said they have had issues with this one particular installer and scheduled another. Finally got measured for what I thought was correct and was able to place the order. Now instead of a 2 weeks wait they were behind and it too much longer. I understand the backup. Treatments finally came in, installer was scheduled and everything was done. When installed I mentioned to the installer that they material was wrinkled. He said it's ok and that he wouldn't recommend steaming because it could burn the material. I then went back to Christy and she sent him out again to steam. The installer was not happy and I was not comfortable with his attitude. I also noticed that the drapes were not even and asked him about it. He came up with a story. The wrinkles did not come out and Christy came out to my place and confirmed the wrinkles were there and shouldn't have been and the treatments were not even. Conclusion was that he measured from the molding and not ceiling. Christy had to turn this over to John the department head. John was responsive at first and then disappeared. They had the nerve to schedule a delivery of the remade treatments without my knowledge. I then called and spoke to the assistant store manager who guaranteed to get to the bottom of this and call me back. I never heard from him again and yet received a call from the installer that he was on his way to install the treatments that I didn't' even have. I am now stuck with window treatments that are wrinkled and uneven. It has been almost 7 months since I was in Lowes and started this order. I hope to never ever step foot in Lowe's again and want to seriously warn others about the same.

At this Lowe's you are guilty until proven innocent. In short I purchased an Ego string trimmer deciding to return the trimmer the next day unopened. Why? Because I read the Lowes reviews and I didn't want to be another victim of a problematic automatic line feeding mechanism. But at the return counter the women wouldn't believe me that the box was unopened even though it had the manufacture's banding straps intact on the box. Then she called over the associate, Steve, from the applicable department who told her it is new in the box, unopened, nothing is wrong, rolling his eyes. Unfortunately she not only didn't believe me, but refused to believe the Lowe's employee. After a good deal more badgering I was able to get my money back. Point if fact getting accused of theft is hardly how you retain customers. I can only imagine what Steve thinks of her at this juncture. In fact he made a few choice comments to her face in front of me. But wait there is more. I attempted to speak with a store manager. The result? I was told the person is too busy to deal with me. Wow. The only thing left to consider if I should call the corporate office to complain about this Lowe's location, which apparently has a track record of poor customer service given what I'm reading on Yelp...

Probably the worst customer service I've experienced. I understand why I go to Home Depot and Ace.

Charlie from custom blinds was incredibly kind and helpful today. He provided quality insight and was the main reason we purchased all of our blinds from Lowe's today. Thank you for your kindness, attention to detail, and overall help today, Charlie!

The absolute worst customer service, hands down, in store or online. I spent over 40 minutes yesterday texting with online rep only to be told I had to call the store to return a vanity that was nicked. I've been on hold for over 20 minutes to talk to someone now and am still holding Stay away from this place.

Went there today to buy two gallons of paint, no one in the paint department, asked twice to please get someone, waited twenty minutes, no one came to help! Left without buying anything, guess Home Depot down the road will be my store.
