I made a reservation online and easily picked up my car. Avis is located at the back side of the hotel and there is signage around the hotel directing one to their entrance. They have a small office to the right once inside the rear entrance. There was only one person working but he was nice and easy to work with. We would certainly use them again.

The car was absolutely filthy. There were Cheerios and chocolate all over the seats. We had to clean it ourselves. The guy gave us a few paper towels so we at least had some way to try to get the chocolate off before sitting on it. It reeked of liquor smell. The cup holders were wet and sticky. It also had less than half a tank of gas even though the documentation said a full tank.

This location was very easy to rent from. The location was easy to find, no waiting, hassle free, and Amir was great to work with. I had a completely positive experience here.

Do not rent here. This is local franchised owned and the owner shares the car with couple locations he owns. He has limited cars so good luck getting a car especially during the weekend.Customer service is horrible. They just don't care if you don't get a car or not. They will bill you for no show. Not worth the headache.

They did not honor our WRITTEN confirmation price that was made through the United link as a Mileage Plus member. Rude desk agent (Jun 22 pm) said we had to be United employees and tried to double our price.. We contacted United who said that was not true, BUT agent would not budge. We also contacted Budget customer service and they said agent just made a mistake.--but he really just tried to rip us off. We went to a competitor who gave us the original rate. Would be zero stars if I could. DO NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION. I had never had a problem like this before.

Scam!!! Beware!!!This manager has no morals. He will charge you a fee a few days after you return the car. Most people will not look and forget about it a month later when they get their credit card bill. I have to give it a single star in order to submit this review. It deserves 0 stars.

We have this annual ski trip with multiple families to Colorado, we always need the Ford 12/15 person van for the trip. Rent it here for the first time, because this place is open on both Saturdays and Sundays, and the price when I booked it 5 months ago was probably a hundred dollars cheaper than the other options. I got a call from Amit the day before the rental, to confirm I need the car, and he suggested the best pick up time. I am glad I didn't miss that call/voice mail, looking at other people's experience here. These cars are in high demand, no show will be bad for the rental company, I don't blame them. I give only 4 stars because the big van was not very clean, especially the outside. It's really not Amit's fault, because he got the car from Avis just 20 minutes before we arrived, and he had been cleaning the inside the car since. There's no car wash/cleaning facility at this location, so Amit vacuumed as much as he could already.I will definitely rent from this place again. Amit is a very nice person. Just make sure you call him the day before your rental to confirm the reservation.

Do not rent from this location . This giy charged an extra $4000 on my credit mistakingly and took me months to get the money back .

We had to get our friend's car, cancel other reservations, and make new one, what a nightmare! The owner is simply dishonest, rude, lying person. I will never ever go to this location again.I have reserved a car with Avis CONFIRMATION NUMBER 35571561US4 for August 6, 2022 pick-up at 08:00 AM LOCATION Renaissance Chicago North Shore, N9B 933 Skokie Blvd Northbrook, IL 60062 with DROP OFF same day Sat Aug 06, 2022 at 08:00 PM LOCATION John Glenn Columbus Intl Airport, CMH. The reservation was made on June 26, 2022 about 40 days in advance.Arrived at the pick-up location 8:00 a.m. to pick-up my car, and was told they don't have it. There were quite a few cars in the Avis lot, I have a video. Amir (owner) said they are reserved by someone else and there is nothing he can do. To reiterate, dishonest, lying person.

I would give this car rental 0 stars if I could. The car is absolutely disgusting and filthy that I HAD TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE IT MYSELF. I've never rented a car and had to do that myself especially with the amount of money payed on this rental! They didn't even bother to offer to clean it. This is THE WORST car rental. Stay away!!

I reserved a car for a week and pre paid for it online when I arrived they did not have the car I reserved . I was told they only had two cars and if I wanted one I had to pay an extra $10 a day . Renting the larger car for one day and exchanging it later for the car I wanted was not an option . So now I’ve already gotten a ride to this location and it’s too expensive to rent somewhere else last minute and then find another ride . I told the guy behind the desk that this is wrong his response was “there’s a car shortage “ this is price gouging . I will never rent from this company again , this would never happen at Enterprise . Wish there was a 0 star option .

HORRIBLE! Shouldn't be in business. The fortune 500 company I work for made a reservation for a car for a last minute business trip bc I have an electric car and destination outside of cars range. I showed up at 9am, guy told me they have NO cars. "Not 1 car." Reservation was confirmed & verified by Avis system with emails & txt messages. So if they don't have 1 car, why does AVIS system accept reservations? Unethical, sleazy, pathetic business. My company would never think of using them again, possibly even never use AVIS again.

I prepaid a car , I’m 7 months pregnant and have a 3 year old. I showed up to pick up my car which was there ... and they would not release the car to me due to a mix up on their end . They tried to send me to another location (this being the second location they already sent me to ) because they were closing at 2 , I showed up at 1!! Amir was absolutely no help at all and very rude . He said it was not “his problem” and to figure it out myself . Mind you I am supposed to be on the road tonight ! And i prepaid this vehicle WEEKS ago ! Budget how are you taking peoples money but not giving them cars ? Do better
