“Loui Did his thing! Would recommend anyone to come here to get any work done to there shoes! great prices, great work and super honest about what work he’s doing to your shoes 10/10”
“Visited with my husband and 3 sons. Such an amazing shop filled with many treasures for everyone. Richard was extremelyknowledgeable and helpful. We're looking forward to future visits and checking out his new and larger space at Jackson Square Mall.”
“Hands down my favorite thrift shop. It’s not huge, but what it may lack in size more than makes up for quality. Fabulous, unique finds with excellent pricing and supports awesome cause. I will definitely support this establishment.”

4432 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago“I have never found so many pieces that I love in one trip. The items are curated so well and at fair prices. You don't have to look for hours before finding something interesting. The vibe of the place is really cute and the owner is super nice. She told me that there are new items circulating in almost daily as well. Definitely a place I want to return.I'm taking off a star because of the lighting however... although it is a fun ambience, the dim lighting makes it really hard to see what you're actually looking at. I ended up with jeans that I thought were a stonewashed blue, but were actually a kind of nasty yellow-tinted color. I'm going to try and bleach them because they're amazing otherwise! But my advice to the owner is to create better lighting, even if it's only in/near the fitting room. That would help so so much!”

2846 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago“really cute little place. they have tons of vintage clothes that are organized by color. i found lots of things that you don’t see most places. there are lots of knick knacks packed in, as well.”
“WOW am I ever glad I stopped in! Martin is an absolute delight and his shop is full of the most beautiful treasures! This is not your average junky 'antique' shop - he obviously has an eye for quality and unique pieces, and there were so many things that I would have LOVED to take home with me around every corner. Pricing generally seems pretty fair, especially for the quality of the items. I look forward to a return visit!”
“Great place to dump your trash toys . They may even give you a few bucks for them if you are lucky ? . Cool independently owned vintage store aka not so small businesses . So many amazing things and memories all in one place . Bigger then it looks from outside. Make sure to look everywhere .”
“Not just the manager, but the customer service of the mall were both so incredibly helpful and accomodating. They went above and beyond to help me attain what I needed all through over the state phone calls. I recommend this mall to anyone and everyone nearby. They are very friendly and willing to help. Thank you so much Jackson Square!!!”
“If you love interior accessories, dinnerware, and unique jewelry, get yourself over to Neybir as soon as possible. The store offers an extraordinary shopping experience. Everything is beautifully displayed, the place is huge, and there are items at the full range of price points. The owner and staff could not be more gracious and helpful. Bonus: beautiful wrapping for gifts! There is no other store in Chicago that I love more.”
“It's genuinely one of the better thrift shops. Why? Prices. The pricing is fantastic. Yes this place supports a charity, but they also aren't trying to gauge me for a used item with no return policy. I wish people would stop paying higher prices to other places that are charity driven. Because this model works. They get plenty of donations, they are constantly busy, I always spend a lot of money there. Also Kevin fixes watch batteries! It's perfect.”
“Such a cool shop! I recently visited this shop for the first time and feel in love with so many of their items. I ended up purchasing a pair of vintage chairs and love them in my space. My overall experience was great. The staff were super helpful when purchasing the chairs, they had them cleaned for me, and made picking them up super easy. I would highly recommend visiting this shop, you’ll definitely find something you’ll love.”
“Lovely shop with an even lovelier proprietor. There are lots of vintage treasures here that range from luxury labels to 1980's jeans-a little something for everyone! Her prices are reasonable too!”

2135 W Chicago Ave, Chicago“Great curated selections of home decor (lighting, desks, tables, chairs, etc)! Was delighted to find second-hand clothing options in the store - the selections were outstanding.”
“I was impressed with the unusual mostly vintage furnishings. The quality of fabrics and workmanship of the clothing and accessories was magnificent. I bought an assortment of incense on this first visit (unplanned) as I tried not to take home pieces I didn't have space to house. The service was welcoming and friendly. I'll visit again and again.”
“Great resale shop. Really well organized, near, clean and displayed. I'll be going back frequently. Even the books are organized, so the Captain Underpants books aren't mixed in with cooking or adult fiction. A joy to shop here!”
“Awesome experience and owner! I brought my eight-year-old and five-year-old into the shop to teach them about coins, and he gave them a few free coins and took some of his time to teach my boys. Thank you very much for this great experience. Thank you for the good pricing too.”
“This review is in response to "Cynthia Dukes" review.......I have had the luxury of being associated with the owner, staff, and the overall "vibe" of Kelsey Resale for for the last year and a half. I have never been exposed to such a positive group of people and place of business in my 57 years of being on this planet. I have personally got to know everyone that works there and every single individual I have met has made me a better person. The way that they conduct themselves should be the model for every small business. Please keep in mind that I come from a completely different professional background, which is why I have been so impressed. Here is where it gets dicey, Cynthia Duke has personally attacked the "Owner" which also happens to be my Wife. My Wife, the "Owner" is a lot of things, none of which even come close to what Cynthia is describing. She is the best human being on this planet that I have ever met. She is sweet, caring, selfless, humble, and possibly the most compassionate woman ever. I also think that she is the most beautiful person ever! BUT, she also has a business to run, sometimes the inventory items that she has to take in for consignment may be of significant value to the consigner, but not necessarily be of value to Kelsey Resale, which is why I feel Cynthia is attacking my Wife. It is just the business model that has made Kelsey Resale successful. There is no need for anyone to take it personally. You can attack the business model, attack me, but to attack my Wife is way out of bounds Cynthia!”

“Upon first entering The Brown Elephant, you might feel that this is not your average Thrift store. In some sections, it is more organized than other stores of its kind. This store has more furniture than anything else, and the prices were a little higher than your average Thrift store. I would suggest checking in here every once in a while, as their inventory changes quickly. Also like to support this store because proceeds go to health screenings and support for the LGBTQ community”

810 North Blvd, Oak Park“I love this shop. Always a great selection with gems to find. The employees are lovely and you can tell they love fashion and are fun to shop with. Really reasonable prices and a good range of casual items and really glamorous items. It’s great to bring in things that I’m not wearing and build up credits toward new things to enjoy. Also love to donate through them to a great cause.”

“Fun place to spend some time walking around hunting for unique items. You don’t come here looking for something, the store tells you what you need! Found an awesome solid oak coat rack with an old “Property of Cook County” tag on it, and a cool newspaper clipping from the old Rock Island Railway. Deb knew exactly where this piece was hanging up and the story behind it, makes it that much cooler. Would love to see some of the slower moving (kitchen/commercial/restaurant) items cleared out and the boxed items displayed or made more visible. I’m sure there’s some real treasures hiding in this place.”
“For those of you that complain about their policy regarding them not immediately being able to price an item. This is typical. This is a thrift store. Service isn't going to be amazing. Their policy is the same everywhere "if there is no tag then it needs to be properly priced and you can return the next day in the morning to ask for the item and get it then. I did this before and they were accommodating at another location. Although it is inconvenient to have to come back simply for this reason. It's understandable since they need to determine the price a certain way to get some kind of profit and so forth. I don't believe every employee is trained to be able to determine the price of all or any items. These locations are always short staffed so keep that in mind as well. If you want something better in that sense go to a Bloomingdales or a Nordstrom. Not that you can afford it in this economy ?as they say be grateful for what you have”

“After our first time experiencing Divine Consign, we walked away thoroughly pleased with multiple pieces of furniture, a lamp and a neat piece of art. Not at all what we went in there looking for but that’s the fun part of shopping consignment = you don’t always know what you “need” until you see it! Thom was especially helpful during our shopping process by explaining how their consignment works, price structure, delivery, etc. We regularly browse the online store now and look forward to going back to the store more regularly.”
