If I could I would give this place a negative rating. I dropped my nephew off at daycare and while STILL punching in his number to check him in for the day not even minutes of him being there I witnessed Miss K screaming at him. I ended up calling there because the situation was not sitting with me well, if I didn't have to go to work later in the day I would have took him home with me. I was so confused why she was screaming at him as soon as he walked in the door. Not to mention he had not been at daycare prior to this day for 4 days so whatever she was disciplining him for I'm not sure why it wasn't taken care of the same day. He's 5 how is it beneficial to scream at a 5 year old days after an innocent? She was so unprofessional and ignorant to me on the phone, she was insulted I expressed how the day seemed to start off really negative. She at first told me she didn't know what I was talking about and then she told me that she didn't scream at him. Even though she did, she had her hands on his shoulders and was crouched down eye level with him. She went on to express how she dreaded 10:50am everyday because she knew my nephew would soon be at daycare for the rest of the day. She admitted to me she has had conversations with other children's parents about my nephew and how they think he is also a horrible child. She told me that the place is short staffed and when my nephew gets there her day is filled with nothing but havoc. I couldn't even believe what was coming out of her mouth. Ms. P was accused of pinching my nephew. He had pinch marks on the back of his arms. When my nephew was asked about the marks and where they came from he said Ms. P pinches me when I'm bad. When asked to view the cameras about both incidents we were told that no workers in the daycare have access to the cameras and they would have to set up a meeting with the person who has access to them and the director of the daycare. The meeting did not take place until Friday when the incident was brought to the daycares attention Tuesday. Friday no one attended the meeting besides Ms. K She claimed the camera footage deletes after 24 hours. How ridiculous of a lie is that. She said the person In charge of the cameras was there Friday morning before the meeting and told her that basically there is nothing they can do to access this footage because it's deleted already.. How convenient is that!? What camera deletes footage after 24 hours!?!? She gave us a number to the man in charge of the camera footage and told us that he's out for the rest of the day so we wouldn't be able to speak to him until after the weekend. His name was Jeff. After leaving the meeting that resolved absolutely nothing we called the number she gave us to find out Jeff was actually in for the day, we drove to the other location in north riverside to speak with Jeff. He was very professional and apologetic but expressed how he knew NOTHING about a meeting, he didn't get information about needing footage until Thursday and that the camera that he needs to be accessed for the footage DOESN'T EVEN WORK AND HAS NOT WORKED IN YEARS!!!! He said he NEVER relayed any information back to anyone at that location earlier that morning when he went there to try access the footage that it deletes after 24 hours and he didn't know why she would tell us that. I could tell you why because they are LIARS!!!! Why would Ms. K make up a lie about the footage if the camera didn't even work?? The whole situation is absolutely ridiculous. It was one thing after another, excuse after excuse. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I gained more horrible knowledge about this location through a neighbor that this location put bricks in a child's backpack because the staff claimed he was too hyper!! I feel HORRIBLE my nephew had to be surrounded by people who picked a profession where they clearly don't have the patience!!!! I would not trust this location with my pet hamster!! BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I registered my two children here only to get a call letting me know that "they couldn't provide service for my son due to his evaluation". They claimed they can't offer service one-on-one. First of all, if this place had bothered to TRULY evaluate my son, they would see he is just a kiddo that cannot talk. He communicates in many other ways and enjoys being around other children. The "evaluation" is simply a developmental questionnaire. They never tried interacting with him. They had the nerve to tell me my daughter was still welcomed, and that they would give my son a "try" if I really wanted to. NO. They clearly don't want to truly work with kids and expect them to already be at high developmental levels. If you want a nurturing place that does not discriminate on ability level, do not come here. My son was taken at a different daycare, and does NOT need one on one there, and is thriving. So we dodged a bullet. Note, this is specific to the Let's Play on Cermak road. I do not know anything about the others.

I am changing my prior review because of an incident that just occured recently/will occur March 1, 2022. Our first child was enrolled in Let's Play North Riverside (26th & Des Planes) from 6-months old until 4-5 years old to start Pre-k. Our second child from 2-months old until now 4-years old. (22nd & Cermak). We recently decided to move our 2nd child before starting Pre-k. We gave them a two- week notice as the new daycare would have space in two weeks. The new daycare informed us that it would actually be four weeks now as a parent had to set the termination date back. My wife informed Let's Play of the two week set back and was told/e-mailed that they had to honor the initial date! Of course we informed the new daycare and their words were "that's appalling so petty and spiteful", plans change timelines change. Your child has precedent, seniority. The parents of the future enrolled child should have been notified that their enrollment date had to be pushed back until your child left. Which was what our center did when we informed you of the enrollment setback. Our new Daycare First Baptist Daycare of Oak Park remedied our child's start date so our family is fine. The Center we patronized for 8 years or more with our two children did not!

Our teachers are amazing! Their hard work and dedication to each and every child is there on a daily basis. They work continuously preparing fun and engaging activities throughout the day. They work hard keeping the center clean and organized for the children. They are consistent and reliable team players. Our current staff ranges from 2-15 years experience in guiding children with their development.

My kids enjoy going here. My daughter been there since 2 months currently 2.5 yrs. She loves her teaches, they are very helpful and loving. My 4 yr old son looks foward to go. The teachers are very responsible and professional.

I took my daughter since she was 8 months old. (She is 8 yr old now) I was so concerned about daycares with all the bad publicity shown on the news but after I met the owner and her daughter I felt assured that my child would be in good care.Their staff is excepcional! My daughter loves going there and now my second feels the same! I cannot trust another daycare to take care of them as long as they’re around.

Love this center the teachers are always working with the children. All the teachers are really friendly and are very profesional.. The children never want to leave the center because they never want to stop doing what they are doing at the moment their parents pick them up.

This is an amazing place. My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old and loves it! Everyday, she comes home excited about all the things that she learned. I highly recommend it! I really like all the teachers and staff too

The staff is exceptional! I took my daughter since she was 8 months old, (she is 8 years old now) they took such a good care of her when she was a baby that I couldn't trust another daycare when my second baby was born! He is 3 years old now and they both love going there!

Worked here for a couple of months & honestly horrible place do not recommend for parents to take their children here. The director Gaby is very unprofessional & does not know how to do her job. There is a lot of stuff that they do that they are not supposed to do & lie about it to parents & DCFS. Staff is treated wrong and unfair. Many incidents with the children & when told to write reports they lie about it so parents won’t get mad or complain. There is a lot of proof of this since I worked in administrative and was in charge of looking over paper work. If you have children attending here I highly recommend you be careful with what you say to anyone working here because everyone tells everything to everyone & starts problems.

I love the staff here they are extremely friendly and love my son so much. Its very clean, and very affordable. I like the diversity of the children which is important to me so my son can learn and understand different people. I've been with some really upscale daycares but they are double the price and this center is just as clean and friendly. The staff is great, they have great advice for me, and they do lots of fieldtrips and activities to keep the children stimulated and educated.
