Very pleasant experience. Scheduled an appointment, was greeted by my service advisor in a prompt and polite manner. The work was performed within the promised time frame, and my vehicle was returned washed and vacuumed. All questions were answered, and I was sent on my way. Thanks for the free coffee and snack. I worked with Ivan (Sales Associate) Chris (Sales Manager) and Chuck (Store Manager) where I purchased a 2024 KIA Telluride SX X-Pro. We did our research prior to purchasing this and came in with market information on where we wanted to be on price for both the new vehicle and trade in. Negotiations were treated with respect and were not too lengthy. Part of that was my direct and seriousness with wanting to make a deal on the spot when I walked in the door. It has been a few years since I purchased a vehicle from a dealer and that was prior COVID era. This transaction was one of the more smooth interactions I have had with dealership staff. Previously we have purchased from Gerald Hyundai and also had a positive experience. In the future my wife and I will very much be considering Gerald KIA and their great staff for another vehicle down the road!

Service appointment to discuss Recall notice, and to repair a three-inch crack on the exterior body just above the rear window. They told me Recall does not affect my car due to no trailer hitch electrics on my car, and they replaced the top hatch panel. Workmanship seems real good. They kept the car overnight and provided me with courteous shuttle service to my house two miles away. Very good service work and helpfulness.

I came to Gerald Kia and bought a new car from Martin Martinez today and had an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We received a great deal and didn’t feel like we were being taken advantage of. I fully recommend Martin he’s the best.

I walked into Gerald Kia to purchase one car, but walked out with two purchases. I attributed the extra sale to the character of Tyler Eubanks. Tyler was authentic, genuine, trustful, persuasive with high moral character attributes. Tyler presented himself not like a salesman, but a friend. Someone who was effectively knowledgeable about the car business so that my daughter an I could choose the best cars that fit our personality and desires. Tyler superseded my expectations and I was willing to change my car choice of purchase because with him I felt respected and secure with my investment. I have never complimented a dealership; however, this dealership embodies character and fairness from the sales manager Chris Olson to the finance manager Bernardo. Chris Olson isn’t just any manager. He is a manager you can trust making a deal with your daughter or wife. He dismantles the prototypical manager because he is endearing and trustworthy. He will go over and beyond in his customer service and being a man of his word to ensure customer satisfaction. Lastly, Bernardo was the nail in the coffin for representing integrity in a position designed to increase business profit. This dealership is where you want to go if you want the best car experience imaginable. And, I speak those words boldly, being middle age and purchasing multiple vehicles at various dealerships.

Worst car shopping experience I ever had in my 40 years life. It was so bad, I'm half tempted to go to the local news to report this dealership for their shady business practices. This dealership is so deceptive I almost got in a shouting match with the sleezy sales manager trying to tell me the $5000 "Market Adjustment" is normal and the additional mystery $1000 upcharge is no big deal. The a-hole wouldn't give me the key to my car back after repeatedly asking for it saying we will NOT make a deal and made me feel like a crazy person for not being OK with spending $6000 over MSRP on the car. This dealership can kiss my whole a$$ and to the sales manager that wanted to pick an argument with me, your old school shady tactics are 100% the reason I will NEVER consider a Kia or buying from a Gerald dealership, as they obviously encourage these terrible business practices!

This dealership plays like they're honest but they aren't. they sold me a kia soul without ever mentioning that there was a recall on the catalytic converter, BEFORE I even bought the car. I took the car in to get a diagnosis and the man in service told me over the phone they could offer me $2,000 for the car. They had my car with them when they told me this. I get to the dealership, and the RUDE salesman, who was clearly only focused on making a buck, told me the car is, in his words "WORTHLESS". Lol! Not to mention as I'm sitting there, i see multiple guys outside who appear to work there, just messing around or on their phones. Not selling any cars though... thought that was weird! But what I found the most comical was how rude the salesman was. Just how rash and rude he was talking to me about my car. Very gross. I will never deal with this company again. And I'll make sure many others know it too. This company did nothing to help me with the shitty car THEY sold me. They want me to pay over $2,000 to fix a car that apparently is deemed "worthless" to them. Lol! And then they passed me off to another salesman to try to get me to buy another car! Are you kidding me?

I can't say enough just how incredibly great Gerald kia is, every aspect here is flawless, no matter what your looking for you'll find it here. First off iwill share a story that just happened, so I bought a 2023 kia from a dealership in McHenry thinking it was a good deal, WRONG WRONG I WAS, I found out about the lifetime power train warranty at Gerald kia (Exclusively At Gerald Kia) and I traded in my 2023 for a 2024. I delt with Chris he's a manager and not only did Chris help get me into the 2024 without paying an arm and leg, he helped me get a warranty reimbursement from the 2023 I bought in McHenry, Chris was honest, more than fair and seemed very genuine, he explained the entire process and made this easy and fast. Never before have i had such a good experience buying a car. Now story 2 my girlfriend gets a car (second one from gerald kia) and she got a very good deal, after she got put in a beautiful new car she had some questions and misunderstood a few details in her deal she made at Gerald kia. So we set an appointment to see about changing her agreement with kua, Before she and I even stepped into the store one of the sales consultants started talking to us, Tyler Evbanks was his name, after we talked about the reason we were there and who we wanted to see the GM, Tyler listened to our concerns, and Tyler addressed and reassured my girlfriend explaining in great detail all the options she had today and when her lease expires. Tyler was one of the best sales consultants I have ever seen, he was genuine, he was able to explain everything in such great detail there was no need to speak with a gm because Tyler took care of all concerns and questions. Clearly Tyler knows every aspect of the business. I am big on manners and body language says alot, Tyler's body language showed sincerity, confidence, and intelligence, employees Luke Tyler make you come back, I would recommend Gerald Kia to all my family and friends, I have bought many cars throughout the years and I can tell you from experience the sales consultants like Tyler or managers like Chris really create a lifelong relationship when you or a family member, a friend need a car you'll need people like Tyler, Chris, Romero to be there so you get the most for your money and what you wanted. I have been to the Lex** dealership in Naperville, the Volks***** dealership and neither dealership compares to Gerald Kia of N. Aurora. I am giving you the honest to GOD truth here hands down this is the best dealership in a 300mile radius not just because the lifetime powertrain, the sales consultants and managers actually care, they are honest and completely eliminate the bad car salesman stereotype. I'll never buy a car anywhere else than Gerald Kia and if your tires of the typical mediocre dealership and want first class five star treatment come to Gerald Kia, I'd seek out Tyler Evbanks and I'm sure you'll run into Chris Olsen too, there are no games being playedhere its professionalism at its best.

Dan competently took care of the final steps by helping us with the different options available. KIA is a leader in the automotive field and the reasons are obvious, its cars and people.

Jim was great to work with! He knew what I was looking for and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want. The car I wanted happened to sell and the system wasn’t updated. We took a vehicle out to test drive, just to feel the car in general. He had a good eye and saw exactly what I was looking for, discovering it had just gotten there that morning. Highly recommend asking for Jim Vanacora when looking for your next car!

The salesman, Rodrigo was amazing. He was very helpful finding us a very specific car we were looking for. He worked with us on the price as well and gave us an overall very pleasant experience. I would recommend buying a car from him to anyone.

Chris, the sales manager, and Gina, my sales woman, were AMAZING. It was a very long process, but both of them were so patient the entire time. It was my first time purchasing a car so I was very nervous, and both of them made sure I understood what was going on and helped me find the best option for myself. I really appreciated their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is anxious about buying a car. Dan in Finance was so kind and helpful as well.

EDIT:: THE MANAGER HAS STILL NOT CONTACTED ME EVEN THOUGH ON THIS REVIEW HE REPLIED AND CLAIMED HE WOULD CALL US. 0/5 STARS!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!The customer service here is so appalling I have to give it one star. If I could I would give 0. I brought my 2020 Kia Forte in just for one thing, a system update due to a recall on the car. Dropping it off, my car did indeed have a small hole in the bottom of the bumper, a little bigger than the size of a baseball - I wish I took a picture before but I know the mechanic did, so maybe they can post it attached to mine! But it was hardly noticeable. I was working that day so my dad dropped it off & picked my car up. Upon picking it up I noticed it was now missing the ENTIRE front piece that had once only been a small hole. My dad, since they already knew him, called and asked what had happened to my car. No one was able to tell us for 3 days what happened. It almost was like they were trying to avoid calling us because when they did it was during dinner time. Finally, after telling us they ran my car through their car wash and the piece must have broke off in there, they also informed us there was nothing they could do to help with the broken off piece, even though it was their machinery that cause DAMAGE to my car. Will not be going here for services ever again and highly do not recommend going or shopping here. Their customer service is rude and unhelpful. The pictures show what the part should look like compared to the ENTIRE piece missing on the other side. Again, prior to bringing it in, there was a small hole a little bigger than a baseball. Now my entire front piece is gone… and I never even received a “sorry”!

Gerald Kia allows for simple online scheduling for service. Once there, I was immediately checked in. I inquired about what appeared to be an oversight/error on my estimate, they reviewed it, and immediately removed the $100 charge. Then I was told my wait time, and began waiting comfortably in a nice space with TV, snacks, water, coffee, and tea. There are phone chargers and small tables if you prefer to work while waiting. My wait time went quickly. My car was washed and ready to go before I knew it. I spent some time looking at the inventory and was able to get some questions answered by two separate salesmen neither of whom ever pressured me about buying. TLDR-Positive experience all around. Thank you.
