“This is my favorite post office. Every time I come in, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. Craig, in particular, is great—always kind, professional, and a pleasure to chat with. He treats everyone with the same respect and warmth, no matter their age. It’s always a good experience here!”

“I didn’t get the woman’s name at the front desk, but she is always so kind. I’ve been in twice because of the reviews. It’s so hard to find good places to go for good customer service anymore, and this one I recommend if you care about patronizing a place with great customer service, like myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
“This is the best USPS location I have ever been! Even dough the place is always busy, it’s clean, FAST, organized and the staff is super polite e helpful! Great experience every time !”
“I’ve always enjoyed prompt and good customer service at this location.
The only reason I give four stars is because they need to clean up and organise their walk-in customer area regularly .”

“Cute small and old style mail office conveniently placed in a small downtown area , I went for a couple stamps for postcards, the attention was really good , lola took time to search for some specialty stamps (american revolution ones) i was interested in , overall great service and wasn't busy at all”
“Went by for a passport service and found myself not carrying debit card or enough cash on me. The staff went above and beyond to assist with it and saved me a trip! Special shout out to Arnold! Great guy with excellent sense of humor! Friendly girls at the desk. I could see the camaraderie amongst the staff at the back and that certainly translates into keeping customers happy. Highly recommend this location.”
“It’s not perfect but the people here try much harder than other post offices. There is actually a sense of customer service, no temper, no attitude. I can’t blame them for the failings of an underfunded system. If you want a real taste of hell try going two miles east to the post office on Grace. The abuse will burn your face. You will go running back to Cicero.”

“I was greeted by Janelle with a big smile. Fast service. Hassle free. My new favorite post office. Love the early hours.
There is free visitor parking just north of the building. Walking time to post office maybe 4 mins. Overall I had a great experience.”
“I went in for a passport picture & Sheldon help me out to fill out my passport paperwork he was so nice, & patient went the extra mile. Had a good experience at this post office thank you sheldon.”
“Walked in there 10 mins before closing time the lady at the front desk still took me in and helped me step by step.
She worked after hours to make sure I got done what needed to be done. Very friendly and professional lady, very patient with me and explained the process to me, will definitely go back to this place if I need services! Thank you!”
“I love this post office is amazing. I always come on Saturday mornings and the representatives always has a smile on their face and the line moves fast. I come here from the south side because of the service.”

“Out of the seven post offices near my house that I visited, this location by far has the most polite employees.
It’s located just minutes off of I-290.
You can find a few free parking spots in front of the building otherwise. Also, there is a parking lot on the other side of the street that can fit more people.
This post office was pretty clean as well.
When I visited, there was only one other person in line.”
“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. Thank you so much again!! You guys are the best!!”
“This morning a nice lady opened the door for me when it was closed, and she stamped the envelope instead of asking me to come back after an hour. Thank you so much ?”

“Always a pleasant experience coming to this location. Sometimes there is a wait. But the ladies at the desk will still acknowledge and let you know they will be with you shortly. And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. My favorite post office! Thank you ladies! Keep up the great work!”
“I was returning a package today andhad the pleasure of meeting Haseena. She was kind and courteous, and provided great customer service! I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, thanks to Haseena's guidance...and her skills with packing tape! Thanks Haseena!”
“I went in today about a package I didn’t receive and everyone was nice! BUT BALIEY found my package and was a pleasure deal with! THANK YOU MAYWOOD POST OFFICE”
“I can’t praise the service of USPS enough. My sister sent me a package from abroad, but the local post office put my house number as the zip code, and the address on the mailing label was missing my house number. It’s express mail, but the tracking shows no location. I was so afraid that the package would be lost somewhere. I went on the USPS website and filed an inquiry. A customer service representative from the Westchester post office sent me an email and called me the next day. She explained to me how the shipping works and assured me that she would pay attention to the package when it arrived.
It’s been nine days since my sister sent it out. She was planning to purchase another one and send it to me again. On a whim, I rechecked the USPS tracking and found it had been sent to the Westchester post office this morning. Believe it or not, I got it this afternoon. Awesome service.”
“Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”
“This post office is the best one in the area! Very efficient and warm employees. I don’t know her name, but the older black woman always meets me with a smile. This place is much better than Gunnison!!!!”
“Loading was ok but waisted my timeBecause Loading was bit confused with paper they should have better guidelines!Gave me a small paper like store receipt“ I ask for BOL they said I don’t that is all I give”Than I call broker and gave me number for BOL I need to have than they said go on out gate they will give you that than I got it with no problem!MailLoads are a bit weird!”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”

“I was expecting staff who were surly, irked, and overall unfriendly. I received Daiquiri (sp?), who was the literal opposite +100 of my first sentence. She was so helpful, cheerful, competent, and amazing that I will tell people who live on the southside of Chicago to go to Niles to handle their post office needs. I am going to post this review on multiple sites so people can get the competent and kind governmental services our taxes pay for, and so that Daiquiri and her co-worker (I didn't work with him, but heard him working very kindly with 2 confused customers) receive raises if this federal administration would allow that in 2025.”
“I love this post office. The staff is nice, helpful, prompt AND it has parking.
Seriously one of the easiest and friendliest post office experience I've had in years.
Big fan!”
“This woman went off on a carrier yelling and screaming for her item when the carrier explained that the post office was closed since it was Saturday the woman was not listening so she then proceeded to film the carrier antagonizing her following her and the carrier had no choice but to call police. Police was called and the woman was told to leave due to the fact that the place was closed she left without her item and upset. For those who go to this post office don’t go there demanding yelling and filming to get your item and also make sure that the place isn’t closed before going down there and causing a ruckus for absolutely no reason. By the way the woman in this photo was wrong and I and numerous of others witnessed her behavior towards that specific carrier then to go online and fabricated the whole situation but failed to mention you went after business hrs insane. Also failed to mention you was searching through postal vehicles on postal property looking for your carrier through the parking lot again AFTER BUSINESS HRS Hopefully she will gain some manners and do not repeat this threatening behavior towards anyone again.”
