I loved this little shop! I was looking up nerdy shops in the bloomington-normal area and it popped up. The staff was very friendly when we came in, they have tons of collectibles from my childhood (my inner child was screaming with joy) and an impressive selection of retro games! They are moving to a new location soon with more retail space so I can't wait to visit and see what other cool items they have picked up!

Incredible shop located in Normal, IL. Retro games, consoles, vintage toys and fare. They always have something new everytime I visit. A few collectors have featured them on YouTube.

Really enjoyed visiting and spending a gift caard on some unique items. Quite a large horde too, Im sure to come back here to just spend some time finding something cool!

My first visit today with my 9 year old grandson. The Item Shop is his favorite place to shop for his collectibles and the guys there give him all the attention he needs to find what he collects and share their knowledge of the items he chooses. Great place to shop for collectibles!

Kind Business Alert! Ryan and crew run an amazing shop. Ryan really takes the time to make sure you are finding what you need. They have great prices and a wide variety of gaming items, from games to consoles to handhelds. They also carry a lot of collectibles. Supporting local businesses is important. The Item Shop is a Gem!

I’ve been going to The Item Shop since they first opened. Ryan, Frank and co. run a terrific shop that has an excellent collection of authentic games, toys, collectibles and much more.
Ever since I first walked in, I’ve felt welcome. I look forward to my conversations with the owners and employees just as much as I do the browsing of their items.
I’ve since moved out of town, but every visit back to Normal is always accompanied by a trip to The Item Shop. It is THE place in BloNo to go for all things gaming and collecting. They’re an integral part of the community, and I look forward to more visits and their continued growth. If I could give a higher rating than 5/5 stars, I would.

Lots of fun, super helpful staff that are happy to talk and negotiate with your kids. Very family-friendly, we had a lot of fun trading cards and looking at all the vintage toys
