Excellent customer service and overall experience. They checked-in my watch, replaced battery, cleaned, set the time/date. It was ready the next morning. All for only $15. Great value, great service. Thank you very much. Will definitely return and recommend.

I dropped off a necklace with a broken chain. Employee said they would order a new chain and string it through the kidney beans for $20-25. Ten days later I went in to check on it and they couldn't even find the item. They then called an hour later to say they didn't order a chain and they would repair the chain and it would be $45. I went back and picked up the item. They did not offer an explanation as to why I wasn't called when they changed the original plan. I would not recommend using this place for any service. Not dependable.

I went here to sell my wedding ring that was pretty beat up from the years of wearing it. The owner was super kind and in a way felt like a father figure helping me as if I was his daughter. Six months later I recommended a friend go there to see if he could fix a scratched watch. The owner did it perfectly and made it look brand new again quickly. I will definitely be back one day when I can spend money on jewelry. Incredibly grateful to the owner of this business.

I have purchased and received many gifts from Solid Gold over the years. It’s clear they take great care in selecting their products because the quality surpasses what I see in big box stores. Bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings… it’s all held up beautifully. Repairs are expertly done and I’ve had zero issues with anything they’ve worked on. I’ve attached a photo of a piece they customized for me that I absolutely adore!

As a new resident to Normal IL, I was trying to find my new local jeweler and Solid Gold was it! After going to other jewelers in town, Solid Gold had that small jeweler atmosphere that I was missing from my jewelry store back at home. Great service and cute jewelry!
