Sams is ok but the pharmacy and optical departments are just awful. I would advise people not to use either one. It's a clean store and they have a lot of things in stock but customer service is non existent. I go less and less all the time.

Been going to this store for years and even worked there for a very short time. I've never had a bad experience with staff and it is always kept clean. Otherwise, it is mostly a standard Sam's Club. If you buy in bulk or run a business, it can definitely be a money saver. The only criticism I can regularly encounter is that there are never enough tables for people eating there. The food is good and cheap, so I just tend to get carryout instead.

My first shopping visit to Sams was mostly great. I found a lot of great products and will definitely be back. My only issue is some of the people giving out samples were rude, other than that it’s been a great experience.

Why is there no gas attendant on site? And why are the pumps that do not work not blocked off what so ever? Also the gas pumps continuously decline your membership card making it so time consuming to even get gas.

The team working the tire department last weekend really took great care of me, had an emergency with no spare and they got me right in and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. Really nice crew and they did an awesome job!

We had a tired replace due to picking up a piece of metal. The whole experience was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. At the end we noticed the spare tire wasn’t out back under the care (which we didn’t mind at all). A worker (maybe the manager) of the tire center noticed us putting it on and immediately ran out to help us. He apologized profusely and got our spare back in place for us. Although we weren’t upset at all it was nice to see someone take responsibility and own up to an overlooked aspect of our visit! This really meant a lot to us and stood out!

The optical department at this Sam's Club is Out Of This World Amazing starting with making an appointment on the phone or just asking them a general question, to being seen and getting the eye exam. Everyone was gracious and they all followed to the letter Covid Protocol. I highly recommend them. Sam's Club Optical in Normal, Illinois is my only place to take care of my eyes.

THIRTY minutes to fuel my car. I didn't wait in a line, the pump for premium fuel is just that slow. And your attendant checked on EVERYONE else but didn't bother to try and assist me. Fix your pumps, this is a long term problem with premium fuel at your station and no other gas station has this issue

You have an older gentleman who works there named Carl. Pre-Covid he was one of the best food tasters. Always smiling, always talkative, always respectful. I stopped at his booth every time even if I didn’t like what he was serving. Now I see him there doing a multitude of jobs. He recognizes me even with my mask on. Yesterday we talked for a bit about life and Christmas. He warms my heart each and every time I speak with him. He’s such a valuable employee and just a wonderful human. He’s definitely a man filled with stories to share! I adore him and wanted to recognize him. Make sure you tell him to “Compensate Christmas” he will know what I mean. Thank you!

Huge appreciation to Sam's Bakery Associates and compliments to their hiring team for selecting individuals who are creative, personable/engaging and committed to excellence in customer service. On the afternoon of Friday, June 5, my family stopped by Sams Bakery to order a birthday cake and 30 cupcakes for our daughter's upcoming birthday party. There were two associates that greeted us, took our order and explained how Sams could make our unique cake design a realty, for less (amount of money). Their pride and passion for a reputable product was exhibited in their collaboration and documentation of our order. Even though the season of COVID-19/PPE has sometimes made it difficult to connect with others....for reasons we understand.... (I.e., masks, social distancing, shields, etc) the 2 associates at Sam's Bakery on June 5th didn't allow intimacy in customer service to be compromised as they elevated their contributions/connectivity in assisting us with our order. Note: Due to the protective articles the 2 associates were wearing, we were only able to identify one of the associate's names from their badges. (Male: Kris, Female: ???) Kris/"Ms. Associate"....Thank you for all you do!!
