We're out of towners, so it's a few hours drive. Looked like they had good deals here, but every time we show up they're closed before closing hours. Impossible to get into contact with the owner, too. Never even got in.

I get the best money for my scrap gold and silver here! They also put a piece of art on their ebay page and split the earnings half and half, which I'm ok with because it's convenient. Very nice staff. Just remember that they have to sell their stuff below retail so just because your item is selling for a lot on eBay, they won't pay as much because they have to beat certain prices and they can't hold onto stuff forever. They also were helpful about jewelry markings to tell if a piece is real or plated. Recommend.

If you’re selling music gear I would just skip this place. They offered me 25 bucks for a Boss Dual Overdrive stating that they could only get 50 out of it. I listed it on Reverb the next day and sold it for 150$. I made the right choice obviously since I have 125$ more. I would just bypass places like this and sell online to get your moneys worth.

They offered me 25 bucks for a silver label Boss Dual Overdrive pedal tellibg me that they could only sell it for 50. I listed it on Reverb the next day and sold it that night for 150. When it comes to gear, best to just bypass places like this and sell online. Patience pays off. Get your moneys worth.

Monster Pawn in Normal is the best!So many interesting guitars and vintage finds to check out! The store has a friendly, laid back vibe, that makes you want to hang out awhile. If you’re there to sell, expect the pricing to be fair, the offer professional and the staff extremely knowledgeable. I brought in a few items that I wasn’t sure they’d accept, but left feeling really good about the cash in hand and my dealings there. Stop in and see for yourself!

I love Monster Pawn! Im always trated farly. I went there to get my wife a weed wacker for our anniversary and they helped me much good! Tommy directed me to the part of the store that had outside tools and recommended the Weed Destroyer by Dennis industries and supplies. He even offered to rap it for me for my wife Tammala.My wife was so happy that we made love all night in the trailer!Thanks Monster Pawn and MUCH aprecsheative!

Don’t go here they lowball unapologetically. I was trying to sell ps4 games and the blond tall dude was only gonna give me $30 for 3 recent releases that had a value of over $40 in a different store. Then when I decided to take back my copy of Eldin Ring, he cut the value of my games in half. I got ripped off. I would never buy/sell anything out of/ to their establishment. They’re shady!

My family has recently gone through some unexpected events. I meant to post this review months ago. I've bought some nice jewelry from Monster Pawn Normal in the past for family and friends. Now, I've found my own self having to part with some gold and diamonds to get us by a few times. In a time when our economy seems to be working against us; I've gone to Monster Pawn Normal and they've been very fair in working with me on offers. All in which have been good experiences when some buyers (and sellers) could clearly take advantage of you. A few times while selling, my family has come in with me to look around at all of their cool merchandise and to learn the selling process. The staff was very welcoming, educational and professional to them too. Thank you Monster Pawn Staff!!! We'll definitely be back!

My wedding ring was stolen from me. The thief went to this shop and gave the owner a fake ID. He did not gather information, nor verified anything. They were just so excited to be sold my stolen ring that’s 6CT’s, that they didn’t verify anything. They didn’t scan the ID. They did not do anything legitimate about this. And by the way, they bought my ring for $250 off the thief. A $4000 ring for $250. They will never get my business and I will be reporting them to every social media site and government facility that I can. There is NO reason this should have taken place.
