Meijer has nightly assignments you can do where you go in for 8 hours and make 100 dollars that night for helping without being hired on. I did this for 3 nights, on my third night they asked me to push everything to the front of the shelves in an aisle before I left for the day, I did that but apparently it didn’t look perfect the way they wanted so they paid me $73 instead of my full $100 I was owed. Just an unprofessional store with unprofessional managment altogether.

I went there to go to the UPS Store located inside Meijer.
I did a little shopping while I was there. It is a well stocked store that has "everything."

Meijer was well stocked and groceries were easy to find. Raspberries and blackberries were quite good and awesome deals. Sometimes checkout lines are too long. Other than that, it's one of the best grocery store.

I love this store! Nice people and nice workers compared to any other grocery store.
My favorite worker is Lena who keeps her area cleaned & very organized by the jewelry, purse & clothes area. Everytime I see her she is working and doing something productive. She even smiles & stops to say hi to me & my kids as we are shopping. She is there to help anytime & is a very genuine person. Love seeing her & love coming to this store! Their clothes are so cute!

It's four times the size of a Walmart with half of the stuff kind of weird how much empty shelves they have, prices aren't bad nothing amazing though

This is a tough one to rate because I do like their meat and produce and and on the G. M. Side there are lots of items that I do like that. Other stores don't have. But one thing that has really made me mad. I used to like to buy clothes there. But I quit buying clothes there quite some time back because they took out the dressing rooms that is about the stupidest decision.I've ever seen a Store make I even called corporate number and complained. But that fell on deaf ears. I can not buy clothes without trying them on. I have never in my life. Seen a store. Take out their dressing rooms. I feel this has really hurt their business. Because I have noticed other people complained to sales people about it also.

I stopped at the Normal, Illinois store to get supplies for Mothers day dinner. My mom has been in the hospital all weekend, & staying with her till late hrs I wasn't able to get supplies for our special dinner. The manager wouldn't come to the front, because the self checkout attendant wasn't trained to deal with coupons that the register didn't display. $5 worth. You have lost a long time customer. I wasn't valued as a customer or spoken to as a person with kindness. I retired as a Human Resources TM at another retail store, & the behavior here was abominable.

I was shopping and saw shoes buy 1 get 1 for $1. I had two pairs of Sketcher shoes. At the self checkout, they did not ring up on sale. The clerk called the service desk. They said it excluded Sketcher shoes. I didn't get the shoes.
I went back to the shoe department and snapped a picture of the sign above the Sketcher shoes. They were included in the sale.
I preceded to the customer service desk. I showed the gentleman the picture. He asked if they were casual shoes- I thought so they were both sneakers. The shoes still did not ring up on sale. He asked another clerk. She said they were slip-ons and those were not included in the sale. Disappointed, I didn't get the shoes.
Where on the sign does it excluded slip-ons?
Meijers needs better signs and not place it over products NOT on sale.
I am done with Meijers for awhile and will take my business elsewhere.

Decent grocery store. Friendly and helpful staff. The produce section frequently has out of stock items and multiple times I have found rotten onions. They do not rotate inventory well during restocks.

They, like many other stores, are moving in the direction of having only self checkouts open which is really annoying when you have 150 items in your cart.

Great store with a wide selection and much better than Walmart! The bakery and garden center are both better as well!
