WARNING ⚠️WARNING ⚠️DON'T DO IT!!!They have added Force insurance payments on two different accounts three times. If I had not caught it I would still be getting charged. My insurance has never lapse. Explanation the last time is it wasn't unloaded. But she admitted that it had been on file for 2 months. She told me it would be removed in about two week. While I pay interest on a amount that I don't owe. VERY ILLEGAL!!! Whe I first applied for the loan loan officer Danny made the decision to turm me away with out even going to underwriting. I ask to speak to her Manager and she approved it in about 5 minutes. It's sad that all hard working people aren't treated the same, we all deserve fair treatment no matter what we like like.Requested to speak to bank Manager. But I've been getting the run around, and being dodged. Terrible experience

Terrible place with terrible people especially Casey. I’ll take my money to literally anywhere else. They charged me without me knowing then when my bills came out they charged me $50 in other charges. They also took money out of my account without me knowing leaving me with nothing for me and my kids. Shame on you.

I was recently privileged to work with Selena on restructuring our signature loan with Illinois State Credit Union. I have had a history with the institution, but my experiences previously had drifted me to other institutions. Selena was communicative, resourceful, and extremely efficient throughout the experience! With 10+ years in finance, I can confidently say that her service stood out and will be recommended to others moving forward. I highly recommend working with Illinois State CU and especially with Selena!

They’ll accuse you of lying if any information isn’t up to date and they’ll also just close your account just because. Go to MICU tbh, way better customer service

I like the services that this bank offers, but it is impossible to get ahold of them on the phone. 9/10 times I call, I'm listening to their recorded message for 10+ minutes before it times out and I'm only left to leave a voicemail or hang up. If I leave a voicemail for a call back, I never receive a call and the process continues until I get lucky and someone answers.Also, when I wanted to transfer my car loan over to them, I wanted to ask a simple question and got interrupted and given a snotty attitude. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but the professionalism with some of the staff is 0/10.

Customer service could use some work on the bank side. I just need you to listen before you speak. I was trying to set up direct deposit as I have in the past. Understandably I don’t have a checking account because I just use them for savings they were not able to provide me with a voided check. I repeated what I needed three times to the rep who answered the phone on Center street. Unfortunately she wanted to let me know that what they provided should be sufficient, even though the employer is saying it’s not. It’s not Isu credit union giving me a hard time it’s the employer.My frustration is I went to the bank twice before I called. When I did call, I was cut off mid sentence to ask what account number and routing number I provided to the employer. She continued by trying to refer me back to the employer because she was done speaking to me. If she would have listened in the beginning this call would have went much smoother. The employer explained to me they needed something with my name, account number, routing number and on a letterhead to show its a legitimate account. Please just listen to your customers, don’t interrupt it’s rude and you might miss an important detail.
