The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because they stay open late.
Unfortunately, it feels like half of the equipment, from cables to treadmills and other machines, is broken. Based on other reviews, it seems like this has been an ongoing issue with no signs of improvement. Even the steam room in the men’s locker area doesn’t work, and there’s not even a sign to acknowledge that.
Last week, when I used one of the treadmills, there was a strong smell of ketchup in the area. I was told it might be related to their disinfection process, but I’m not sure.
While I appreciate that this location stays open late, unlike others that close early, what it really needs is some serious improvement.

No cleaning supplies, so many broken, not working equipment... some are even looking dangerous with wobbly pins and unsteady weights. Very disappointing.

I enjoyed XSport for it’s 24/7 open doors and the friendly staff, but since this summer, which also was the switch tho LA Fitness, the gym is falling apart . Broken down machines that most likely won’t get fixed , dirty , no sanitation supplies . It’s a sad decaying. Today the back wall ofa cable pull machine fell off and almost hit a gym member, how can management allow a business to fail so badly. My contract ends in Dec and if by then there is no significant improvement i won’t renew .

It saddens me to write a negative review about a place I have been loyal to for many years along with having tremendous respect for the staff from sales to maintenance. This facility has been nothing but disappointing from the empty promises of renovating the gym (photos included) as Xsport members to the broken down machines that take weeks, months, sometimes never to fix. I feel bad for the staff who have to try and make sales with all the lack of equipment and resources. Since the LA fitness buyout, there has been less to no cleaning supply to sanitize equipment, zero health beverages in the fridge (just water; Ice mountain) and zero improvements to the facility as a whole. I even reached out to corporate with photos and a similar message to this one in hopes they would respond to me privately and rectify these issues but unfortunately, I have to try and publicize my grievance to get some motion on these things. Sadly, I may have to find a new health center because the quality of a fitness center has never been so highlighted in my life until now.

X sport offer me buy 1 year get following year free, looking at the deal I signed 2 year contract not knowing their electronic controlled exercise machines are not reliable at all trademil shows error and not turning on , speed control and incline display not working, I ask the of their employee why power plate not working his response was key is with trainer abd he only comes when he has customer. Then what is the use of that powerplate? Some trademil are posted out of function everscince I join xsport in March. Eliptical and bicycle same. When you ask for help no response. Looks like these employees are there to just look out for facility not responsible for anything.

The locker rooms and showers here are more dirty than the one in Arlington heights.

Have been an on and off xsport member for almost 15 years now. Cleanliness in their facilities has never seemed like even a minor priority. Bathrooms chronically smell like mold and there is visible mold in literally every shower at this location.
Equipment at this location is very worn down. Barbells are basically smooth because of how much wear is on them. Coupled with the cleanliness of the facility, it’s pretty disappointing.

My last membership at this location was in 2019. Its air conditioning wasn't working then, either.
But this location had at least one *pair* of commercial-grade tibia machines. The tibs were never without.
And the rocksport wall was in working order as well, even though it was only used mornings before weightlifters rolled in.
But, yeah: it's definitely overpriced, with less equipment than it used to have, and very likely with its original, uneven flooring.
