I was expecting staff who were surly, irked, and overall unfriendly. I received Daiquiri (sp?), who was the literal opposite +100 of my first sentence. She was so helpful, cheerful, competent, and amazing that I will tell people who live on the southside of Chicago to go to Niles to handle their post office needs. I am going to post this review on multiple sites so people can get the competent and kind governmental services our taxes pay for, and so that Daiquiri and her co-worker (I didn't work with him, but heard him working very kindly with 2 confused customers) receive raises if this federal administration would allow that in 2025.

Came here to for a passport (walk-in) and I was a bit confused on the process. The clerks Stacy and Mia were so patient, extremely helpful, and friendly! They explained the different options and how long it will take to come in the mail. They even complimented my photo haha overall, it was a great experience! I will definitely come back again.

Horrible place I want to renew my passport the walk in service was from 2pm till 3 pm I came 2:20 pm and she start yelling that she’s no longer taking walk in I don’t know why they there if they don’t want work I guess just to check in and take paycheck

I had an appointment scheduled for today and they called me 10 mins before the appointment to cancel due to passport shortage. I was already in the parking lot when they called. Unbelievable.

BEST USPS been to many and they are the only one I like to go to and go out of my way to go here. Once I went to the one on Devon because I tried to save some time and it was A HUGE MISTAKE. I ended up leaving and driving to here. And BAM awesome. Thank you

Rude faculties! Least favorite experience I have ever had! Stop accepting customers much earlier than the time they posted online! I wonder if it’s the appropriate way to serve people!

I came in with an appointment to get a new passport. Mia was very patient and helped me to complete the correct form after I'd filled out the wrong one already. She patiently answered my questions and had a pleasant demeanor.

If you're in a rush, make sure to leave plenty of extra time. The staff here are very expressionless and move extremely slowly. It took 15 minutes just for the person ahead of me to send a simple package. After that customer left, the worker still spent about 5 more minutes fiddling around before calling me. Even though there was only one person in line before me, I ended up spending 35 minutes here. Definitely not a place for anyone in a hurry. 🙄🙄🙄

All the staff was so helpful when I requested help with my stolen iPhone. My phone was dumped at one of their mailboxes. They had someone go to the mailbox and open it for me to retrieve my phone. I had spent all weekend trying to get help and no one would help. Thankfully they did everything they could and I was able to get it back! Thank you Mache and all the other staff for your help!!
