“On Oct 7th, my mother and I decided to shop for an elliptical machine. We planned on visiting three stores on the Northside of Chicago. Our first stop was @ Fitness Factory.As soon as we entered Fitness Factory, Ken Maxie greeted us. We told him we were in the market for an elliptical machine, and we wanted to try a few to see how they felt.Ken showed us three different machines. One from the basic, one from the midgrade and an elite level. He explained the difference between each machine.Within thirty minutes we decided to purchase our machine. We walked in Fitness Factory to gather information and left waiting for our new elliptical machine to be delivered.The reason we purchased the machine is because of, Ken Maxie. Ken was patient, informative, polite, and professional. I want to thank Ken for his due diligence. If it wasn’t for Ken, we would have continued our search and may not have purchased the Elliptical machine from, Fitness Factory.Ken was great; however, we were very disappointed with the delivery service. The two delivery men we Hispanic and didn’t speak English. I have nothing against Hispanics but I do have a problem with people in the customer service industry, in America, that cannot speak English.Other than the non-English speaking delivery people, everything was great.Thanks Ken”

“My experience at Fleet Feet was great. I got great service. I bought some fine walking shoes that fit perfectly. The store is well located & pleasant. The person who attended me was helpful, interesting, knowledgable & upbeat. I also bought Fleet Feet socks. Super tight at ankle -no "give", no flexibility to them, like compression socks. Will return them. BUT buy more of the same walking shoes!”

“Recently went to a Northwestern football game and while there bought a jersey for my son from Let's Tailgate at their stand within the stadium.As we walked away, my son noticed that one of the numbers on the jersey was coming off as it probably hadn't applied well. The gentleman at the stand, allowed my son to wear it for the game, then we brought it back to him afterwards where he then told us that he'd take it back to the store to correct the issue and then shipped it to us. 2 days later we had it in our mailbox.Great customer service !!!!!”

“Came here based Google reviews. My son needed cleats, shin guards and socks. Easy street parking.We went around 12:30pm but it was closed despite the hours saying they were open at noon on Sunday. There were 2 other customers waiting outside and they let us know that someone was on the way to open the store and should be there in 10 minutes. We were relieved so to wait out the time, my son & I went next door and ordered smoothies. When the store opened, we walked in and noticed a great selection of cleats. The sales associate was helpful finding a pair of cleats for my son, but unfortunately they didn’t have his size. We did find shin guards and socks so the trip was worth it. I’ll be back when my son needs more gear.”

“Recently I arrived at the park ridge store early on Monday morning (10:45) and I was the only customer, I knew what shoe I wanted ( New Balance) and the size and the style. The only missing piece was the color. The colors in stock at the store were not to my liking, and the sales person researched the inventory at other locations wherein I made my choice. The wonderful sales person said it would be at the store the next day, and they would deliver it to my house when received. When I returned home that afternoon I received a phone call from the sales person indicating the shoes where at the store that afternoon (Monday) and he would deliver them to me at approximately 3:15. He was spot on and delivered the shoes when promised. Do you believe this service it not only exceeded my expectations but was an event that is beyond belief, never have I had such service.”

“My husband had a “Fergie Jenkins is still my favorite” shirt and some how it got lost while traveling. I was in the area before the Cubs game today and stopped in to see if they still had it. The guy helping me said they didn’t have any in the store but was having the warehouse checked. His coworker asked what we were looking for and he said “I don’t think we do, but I can have one made for you if we’re totally out”. I was blown away by their customer service and willingness to go out of their way for 1 t-shirt. Luckily, they had 1 last shirt in the size I needed, but your company has earned a life long customer!”

“Murphy's service is like service used to be. They know their stuff. The salesman (I forgot his name) asked a couple of questions and came back with a couple of styles. One was very close to what I like, but not perfect. He went in the back of the shop and came back with a couple more to try on. The first one was the one. They don't have a large selection, which I wasn't looking for. All I wanted was a good fit and a shoe for my type of workout. As for price I went to Zappos and the shoes were the same price and I got great service. Thanks”

“REI! This place is like Costco for outdoors people! You always say you're going to go in and buy one thing and then you walk out a couple hundred dollars poorer at the end of the experience! The salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction. If you are a member you can get a deep discount using your dividend points and also the REI return section is a great place where you can find great deals as well. Overall I give REI a five out of five stars for ambience, selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices. You scan the shoe you’d like to try and you choose the size and color and it asks for your name and color shirt you’re wearing. It will give you an ETA when an associate will be with you. I much prefer this than hunting down an associate to help you. Also, huge store with many items on clearance.”
