I go there sometimes to buy some chicken and I like it actually however, the service in butcher area is bad , yesterday I went there and the guy that working in the butcher counter was very rude , when I complain about waiting time he refused to serve me and instead of apologizing he started talking in a disrespectful way .

The new owners did a great job reorganizing the store and getting it cleaned up. The meat and groceries are very competitively priced. Sometimes, it can be hard to get a hold of someone on the phone. They also got rid of a lot of the processed meat selection that used to be available.Note: their Sunday hours are now 10 am to 5 pm.

This place is the best. I’ve been to quite a few meat markets and was never satisfied. But at Shami Meat Market, the meat is so fresh and the place is SO CLEAN! I’ve had family over 2 times to eat and they would not stop talking about how good the meat tasted (especially the steak!) Also the workers there are so friendly. My go to place to buy meat from now on! Highly recommend! Also they’re a family business, love it family businesses are the best and they really care about their customers!!

Stopped by today and bought some steak. Meat was good, and delicious, maybe it could have less fat on it especially if I pay 11.99$/lbs but overall good place, and the gentlemen who worked there was very friendly.

Amazingly stocked with so much variety, excellent prices, polite staff. One of the cleanest & well organized grocery stores of its kind. Great service and quality products. Whether you are a meat/sausage or pastry lover, they have it all. I definitely recommended stopping by to check them out

Very disappointed! The guy said that chicken drumsticks are fresh and from today but when I got home it was rotten and smelling horrible. Will never visit this shop again even the guy was nice, but nice lier.

Went there last minute with my mom who is very particular about quality. From excellent customer service to the quality and the price of the grocery’s 10/10! Store was clean and also the owner is attentive to the customers needs. Also the girl at the checkout has extremely great customer service skills. Will be our go to store from now on.

By far the cleanest Meat Market! A lot of variety of meats to choose from. All the meats are individually wrapped at all times. Frozen meats and veggies also available. Other items such as sweets, spices as well as other groceries you can pick up as well. Coffee cups, serving trays and much more available. A lot of good stuff, but they really lost me at the beautiful cleansiness overall of the market!Love it! Will definitely be my go to Meat Market!

I was very impressed on my 1st visit and have become a repeat customer since! Friendliest hidden treasure you could ever ask for, I love this place!Staff is very helpful and friendly. Every time I have walked in, I get greeted with a smile and eye contact acknowledgment. The girl who works there is always so kind and inviting.The store is so clean and so organized!They have a wide selection of things that you need from a Middle Eastern store. They carry everything from baby formula, diapers, hookahs, hookah flavors, charcoal, home goods, home items, refrigerated and frozen food, fresh produce, bread, spices, canned goods, teas, rice, grains... My list can go on....The pricing points of everything is very reasonable and they have amazing prices on their fresh/halal meats.To sum this up, when in Niles, stop by and patronize a family owned and operated store.
