3933 W North Ave Ste 1, Chicago“I didn’t get the woman’s name at the front desk, but she is always so kind. I’ve been in twice because of the reviews. It’s so hard to find good places to go for good customer service anymore, and this one I recommend if you care about patronizing a place with great customer service, like myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
9:30AM - 4PM
9460 Irving Park Rd, Schiller Park“The lady at the front desk is really nice and helpful she helped me and give me information I need and she is making sure that I understand everything and she even making sure I put my receipt in the safe place and take a picture of my receipt with phone in case I lost it love her service thank u .By the way I don’t post reviews Except if I get treated really good.”
“i had a really great experience here opening a PO Box. i was slightly hesitant based on the negative reviews so i just want to add my positive experience in case anyone is on the fence. There was one employee at the desk and she was very nice, helpful, and efficient with myself and everyone in front of me despite being it kind of being a holiday (Monday July 3).There were three people in front of me and i still got in, registered, and out before my 15min parking was up.I didn’t catch her name, but the employee working today was so lovely and i wouldn’t hesitate recommending people to use this location!”
“All post office employees should take lessons from the staff at this location. They are knowledgeable, patient, efficient, and genuinely friendly. They aren’t satisfied until their customers are. I actually look forward to going to this - emphasis on this - post office.”
“I have bern living in Bellwood for 20years. I feel that the regular postal employees do an excellent job. They are friendly and know the neighborhood customers by face. Yes, there have been an occasional mishaps, but we are all human. I appreciate the job they do.”

2001A Waukegan Rd, Techny“Best Post office anywhere. It’s the hidden gem of the Northshore. Lines are minimal or next to nothing, service is top notch. Clerks and Post Master there are polite, have manners and treat you like a human unlike the rest of the post offices around!! Anyone else that reviews this place and gives a bad review is most likely a hater. I saw someone post that this office randomly closes. That’s a total like! Especially at the times he posted it closed. I’m a frequent customer as in everyday bc my company sends me there everyday without fail at around 3:45 to process certifieds and this office clearly states it’s operating times and definitely is open and up and running EVERYDAY minus Saturdays past 3:50pm! The office does close M-F from 1pm-2-pm for lunch but for folks that know how to read signs they would see that clearly outside!! And the sign they put up inside at the entrance of the second door. DUHHHHH…”
“Again, professional clerks,I must to drive from post office on Ashland/Milwaukee to send parcel to my Family,I was kick in my....by clerk today, two hours agow.Thank you,Fiver Grove!”
“I was shocked to actually want to give a post office a review. Let alone a great review. There is a young gentleman whom was very courteous and funny. He was very efficient and polite. That was the last thing I was expecting in a post office.”
“I didn’t know they stopped processing passport applications after 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:58pm and was told they stopped already. I stayed calm and asked politely if it was still possible to process my application anyways after explaining how dire my situation was and the young woman decided to process my application because she was still at her desk (a little sassy but, I was late after all)She then explained in detail how the process works and told me exactly how I’d receive all my documents in a professional and helpful manner. She was happy to repeat any part I didn’t understand as the process is quite odd as you send over your original birth certificate along with a check and leave with nothing after doing so which is a little unnerving.Alas, this all occurred on 9/27/23. It is now 10/30/23 and I just received my passport! (I paid extra to expedite my application)Thank you to that young woman for putting in the extra effort for me. It was seriously appreciated.”

336 Hazel Ave, Glencoe“While headed to the Green Bay Trail for a run, I found this United States Postal Service (Glencoe Post Office) to be the closest near the trail while enroute. At the time, I had an eBay shipment that needed to be shipped out. I took a liking to its cute building which sat in a classy looking area nearby Glencoe Village Hall right in the heart of Glencoe! Via Village Ct, I was able to veer quickly into a parking spot rather than entering off of Hazel Ave. Along with its cute building exterior, the inside environment gave off a very positive vibe rather than a negative one. As I waited to be seen, I adored the postal clerks' interaction with a customer ahead of me, who had a young daughter. The interaction appeared so genuine which put a smile on my face immediately while in line and as I moved towards the counter to be helped. As someone who visits post offices regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the postal clerk presented one of the friendliest vibes I have ever encountered at any post office location. After giving the clerk my package, he questioned me if it had anything liquid or hazardous inside then explained to me the shipment options for my package which I always choose the cheapest, hehe. As a Poshmark Ambassador on Poshmark, and someone with a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay as long as the package gets to my buyer I am always satisfied. I was on my way in minutes. I am terrible at doing the surveys pertaining to my visits at post offices, but best believe I always share some sort of a review. Being that I had a great experience, I would gladly utilize this United States Postal Service (Glencoe Post Office) again when in the area. ~ Embrace the journey. ~Thomas G”
“USPS provides amazing value. I needed to send some envelops with two to three day delivery. UPS was going to charged my wife twice what USPS would charge, and when I needed to return the signed versions UPS was three times at much $92 UPS vs $35 for USPS - and delivered a day earlier! I rarely see these kinds of savings but here is one - use it!”
“By far the best post office I've been to, staff is always in a great mood, very welcoming and trying hard to get everyone in and out as fast as they can. They have all made my experiences great for months now!”
“This morning a nice lady opened the door for me when it was closed, and she stamped the envelope instead of asking me to come back after an hour. Thank you so much ?”
“Excellent service. Didn’t get her name but African American woman with great smile had excellent customer service. Assisted me with passport details. They do not take pictures as they are a one person service stop, but she checked that I had everything I needed to expedite quickly.”

512 Chestnut St, Winnetka“One of the staff stayed out during the start of her lunch break to help me cancel a package I had dropped in the drop box earlier that day. She had no obligation to help me but chose to anyways, incredibly incredibly nice and made my day.”
“Super kind staff and easy self service options too, so you can scan a pre-paid label for a receipt at a kiosk without even having to interface with anyone! Any time I’m here, I can be in and out in a matter of a few minutes.”
“It's the post office! It's not going to be perfect but I've always been treated nicely, and I appreciate that they are willing to answer my questions and explain things if there is an issue.”

350099, 7300 W Fullerton Ave #350099, Elmwood Park“Always a pleasant experience coming to this location. Sometimes there is a wait. But the ladies at the desk will still acknowledge and let you know they will be with you shortly. And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. My favorite post office! Thank you ladies! Keep up the great work!”
“The Clerk there was very nice and efficient this was my first time walking inside. The gentleman that was in line before me seemingly had a lot of the same questions the clerk was patient at least I thought she was patient and very attentive to his questions . I just needed a stamped envelope nonetheless This location gets a five-star customer service rating .”
8:30AM - 6:30PM
1343 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago“Very helpful staff who has gone out of their way for me multiple times over the years. The staff has always been patient, helpful, and attempts to resolve any issues appropriately.”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”

1787 Orchard Ln, Northfield“I see a lot of bad reviews but I've been here probably about 10 times and generally don't really have any issues. And definitely not any issues that would not happen at any other post office I've been to. Yeah the workers might not have a fake customer service Smile on 24/7 but don't really expect it, they help with the transaction and then we're done”
“There is a new young woman working at this location who is absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Also this location during the weekday is almost always not busy, no waiting. I think it will get busier though as people realize there are new personnel working here.”
“This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address ?? will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.”
“This post office is the best one in the area! Very efficient and warm employees. I don’t know her name, but the older black woman always meets me with a smile. This place is much better than Gunnison!!!!”
“I went to this location about half an hour before closing on a Friday (I know ... it was the earliest I could get there) in order to send a package of documents internationally. I had reviewed the options online, but still wasn't sure what the best shipping option would be. The USPS worker who helped me was patient with my questions and informative in her explanation of the options; she explained clearly the delivery timelines for different methods and which offered signature on delivery (which I needed). I stepped aside to complete the necessary forms; because of the time of day, of course, several people passed through while I was there, and she was able to help everyone get through the line before closing. (There was one woman who came in and did try to skip the whole line and went straight to the counter while there was a customer being assisted, and the USPS worker -- rightly! -- told her she'd need to get in line like everyone else.) Post offices get a bad rap for service, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this location for help with any shipping in the future.”
“Always friendly. Way better than the Morton Grove Location, A women at the desk notified me I was using the wrong shipping box so I would get charged later. Thank you to her for letting me know.”
