There are only three Daiso shops in the US and this is one of them. At $2.25 an item Daiso is a Japanese equal to Dollar Tree. Plenty of toys, kitchen and home gadgets, health and beauty as well as some food items. All unique and nice quality!

You're better off going to dollar tree for your cheap knick knacks. Unless you're looking for the higher priced stuff they carry like Gundam models, or need cheap noodle bowls or chop sticks, I would not bother.

Love this place. Unique things.
Only drawback is We came here to get something we had purchased about a half a year ago and they didn't have it anymore. So I guess it's sort of like the dollar store. You take a chance of it being there next time or not.
Other than that it's a great store with cool unique things.

Honestly, this was an overhyped dollar store. All of the makeup items were insanely expensive for an "inexpensive" store and behind locked glass so I couldn't even get a good look. They had L.A. Colors there, which is an American-based brand. Most items were above the $2.25 advertised priced, including $7 candy. $7 for candy?!?! And while the staff were nice it took them several minutes to get to the register because they were chatting on their phones. I personally have found a lot more and better products at the standard Dollar Tree.
