I visited in the late afternoon the day before yesterday, and as I was crouching down to look at the products at the bottom of the shelf, an employee checking something came in with his foot in front of me.
Even though it was a Korean male employee, I was dumbfounded to see him do things that no ordinary person would do with common sense, and he was not at the level of any employee at any other store.
It seems to be a store where the employees are superior to the customers. We headed straight to another store that way.
The level of CS training for store employees was poor.

Wow, Hmart did a little remodeling/ changing layouts and I like it. It looks clean. Have to say that it seem cleaner and no smell especially by the seafood area- it was Sunday that I went. Even on Memorial day, I returned to buy more meat. The place was super clean. Very impressed!!

This is one of our favorite places to buy Korean and Japanese foodstuffs. Staples are reasonably priced and plentiful. We make a run every time we run out of our favorite Japanese curry gravy.
The store is undergoing a bit of a renovation at present (Oct 2024).

We like the selection of Asian goods, but there is poor refrigeration of some items. In the last year, I've bought tofu products and fresh noodles which were moldy on the day I brought them home. Chinese eggplants and long beans out for sale already rotten. Not everything is bad, but for many ingredients it is just unacceptable to even put them out in such a state. It's very frustrating to shop at Hmart. The prices aren't low enough to justify such poor quality control.

If you are looking for grate asian geocery products in good prices this place is for you. You will find all you need to make good asian dish. If you are not so good with cooking this place offers 5 different resteurants inside. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The ingredients were fresh but the cashier had a very poor attitude. Didn't say a word the whole time, we bought a bag of rice and she instructed us with her finger to lift it up for the honorable cashier to scan it, after all the items were scanned right on the table she didn't help at all to put it in a bag and didn't ask us if we wanted a bag. It was hard not to wonder if she was a racist.

What an awesome place! Full of everything you could ever want from Asia. I could’ve spent an hour alone on the dumplings. We left with delicious steak and short ribs as well as tons of sauces and noodles to make lo mein. Can’t wait to go back.
