Great service, fixed our 2005 Excursions brakes. They made sure they did a thorough inspection and took care of everything that it needed. I feel so much better knowing it's safe and no problems. We would not hesitate to return with other vehicles. The excursion needs a big lift and they have it. The excursion will be in their hands for repairs from now on. They were quick to fix her up with all the brake work needed. Friendly, knowledgeable guys. They work on muscle cars! They can fix anything because those can be a challenge to get parts for and fix. Knowledge is the key to a great mechanic.

I’ve been searching for a good mechanic that knows what they’re doing because I was tired of people breaking 3 things trying to fix one in my car when I came across Fairlane. Steve is a very straight forward, cool and nice guy while of course being extremely knowledgeable and a true Motörhead. His prices are not cheap, and he does not budge on his prices but he’ll hook you up with favors here and there. But his work is spotless. I can leave a car w him and be confident that he will fix whatever is wrong with it. Anytime you go there you will find rare old and expensive new cars at his shop and that also shows that he has some really car motivated people trusting him with their prized possessions. So give him a call before you go there cuz he’s always busy but you will not be disappointed.

typical used carsalesman.. lier, jumping Title? i saved his texts to support my claim. sold engine after stating he will contact me if he seperatesc it, then blames me, for his broken word comical and delusional.. i only got upset after he pushed blame on me.

Steve, the owner, Of Fairlaine, is an outstanding mechanic. His prices are more than fair, his work is meticulous and professional. I am moving to Des Plaines and he will be taking care of my car as well as my wife's car. You can trust them implicitly. So , after trying get in touch with few other classics car shops( with no answers ) finally I’ve found someone who’s willing to help me with my Chevelle. The owner explained to me process with fixing American muscle cars.Simple questions , quick answers and I make appointment. Only minus that waiting is couple months since they really busy. But I think is worth it! 5 stars for customers service.

This shop worked on my 87 Camaro and did a fantastic job. They fixed what I needed, but they didn't just tear it down and put it back together, they made sure every thing was put together right. If it was out and needed fixed, they did it. It was put back together very clean, with no bolt left unscrewed. I will 100% be taking my car back to them.
