Wasted an hour of my time because their "new system" was faulty. They blamed my cell provider for not being able to accept their pin, then said I have to go to my original branch where I set up the account to resolve the issue. This isn't true. They also asked to look at another debit card of mine to prove identity, which after providing, they still could not do, even though I was able to complete every verification step besides receive their text message. I think it was their intention to try and make sure I do not come back, because one of the staff members even mentioned: if you were a regular or if someone could recognize you this would be easier.

Posted on 11/18/2023I had an issue that I discovered accidentally after opening a promo account. While the staff here (Andy and Yanet) were helpful, the fraud department investigating the issue will take TWO weeks to even notify me of the problem. Want to do business with BMO? Think twice.Update 11/22/2023Upon calling the fraud department, I have to wait until the investigation is completed, which they cannot provide any timeline. Be careful before you do business with BMO.

This bank will create all kinds of barriers in order to not let you pay your loan off. They hate when you pay a loan off, that’s why don’t work with BMO bank or fifth third bank ever! Both are pretty horrible.

I've been Banking with BMO Harris for a little over a year, and have had no complaints or issues with this particular branch. I'm always greeted by the Tellers, Bankers, and Management Team, and they always solve my problems – and more!

My father passed, so I brought death certificate to close his account and get the left over money, without saying anything, the unhelpful evil manager cut up his card, smiled and said we’re keeping your father’s money, you should get a lawyer. It was salt in the wound of a very difficult situation.

My name is Dennis Doherty, and I have been a BMO customer for many years. I must give this bank 5 stars. I had a recent calamity, where I placed a night deposit on a Saturday night, and upon leaving forgot if I threw the deposit in the outside mailbox. I couldn’t sleep for 3 nights, as it was a 3-day holiday, and the deposit contained a large sum of cash. When I came in the next Tuesday morning and explained my distress; the whole bank staff dropped what they were doing and rushed to the drop area at once. Lo and behold - there was my deposit. I am very grateful for that outcome, and I must compliment the staff as I have when there. They are always very courteous, considerate, cheerful, patient, and professional.
